Fetch - This has been a terrible insurance company
This has been a terrible insurance company to deal with. They keep coming up with different excuses not to pay my pets bills. My poor baby chihuahua had to be put to sleep 3 weeks ago. He has had cancer for the last year. This company has been putting me through the ringer. They keep changing the codes to another type of cancer with a whole new $300 deductible. I have had to call over and over again to tell them the medical expenses are all for the same illness including the euthanasia! Who puts a person through that while they are also grieving for the loss of their pet? Plus, they love to hide new costs in their contracts and not notify you when they change things like adding a $3.00 charge for every check they send out. When I asked they said this has been in place for a while. No notice or anything. They get to put everything on line without one shred of paperwork not giving you a choice to go paperless. They also just started not covering sales tax. There is no consistency. Sometimes they'll cover the tax. You never know what you're going to come up against. Plus, I have one bill from almost 3 months ago that the shorted me $140 for with no explanation of benefits online at all. They are blaming it on IT and said you're out of luck until they fix it. Seriously? You can tell the poor reps are exhausted from complaint calls. I have been paying over $5,000 a year for 2 dogs just to Fetch. I have had this insurance since 2012 under various names and this year has been the worst. They nickel and dime you and hope you won't notice. Now my only dog just went up to almost $3,000 a year with a 10,000 limit. They don't pay for prescription dog food either. They want you to drop them without recourse to go anywhere else. Shame on them.
Fetch Canada - I’ll be honest ,in the year I’ve been…
I’ll be honest ,in the year I’ve been with this company is the absolute worst .DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY.My pup had diarrhea when I first got her she was treated ,it’s almost a year later and I had given my dogs beef and liver treats unknowingly that these treats can cause severe issues to dogs including diarrhea with blood ,I sent my claim in after vet ,they denied my claim saying it was the same as when I first got her ..ARE YOU KIDDING ME ,THIS HAS NOTHING ,NOTHING TO DO WITH HER SICKNESS WHEN I FIRST GOT HER.I called immediately venting with the denial,They said oh we will send in the reassessment.STILL WAITING ITS BEEN ALMOST 2 weeks .So I just called again ,oh they said this could take 30 days WHAT WHAT but it takes u ffff no timeto deny it .IF IM DENIED AGAIN I WILL BE FIGHTING BACK TO HAVE ALL MY FUNDS OVER 860 given back to me,If they honestly think I’ll be going through this again ,sadly mistaken.PLUS THEY SEND ME A NOTICE OF INCREASE IN MONTHLY PAYMENTS ,This is the worst company ever ,stay tuned for the next chapter as this is not over
Fetch - Don’t bother with this company!
They were horrible, didn’t reimburse any of my vet bills because they said everything was pre-existing even though we never had any indication for my dogs bladder stones till I was well into my plan policy. I had three large vet bills and they didn’t want to reimburse a dime. My mistake for not reading the tons of negative reviews on Reddit for this company. Complete scam.
Fetch Canada - I made the mistake of asking for a…
I made the mistake of asking for a quote and left my e-mail address. The prices are too high and decided not to but. I keep on getting bombarded with constant e-mails and marking them as spam or blocking does not seem to work.
Fetch - Unthoughtful and self-serving
Unthoughtful and self-serving. The reasoning behind their denial of my claim request is because my puppy's appointment was on day 15 of the 15 day waiting period. My date of joining (payment going through) was 7/1 and her service date was 7/17, 16 days upon joining, not 15, so technically we were within the waiting period. There was no clear indication upon joining that there would be a potential “hold” or processing period prior to the waiting period being effective.
This is now a permanent condition for her, so I will be having to pay full price out of pocket the rest of her life, which of course I'll have to make it work, but there was absolutely no grace or empathy.
I had high hopes because they were recommended by a friend, but I will no longer be giving money to Fetch for any future accidents that may arise.
Fetch - BEWARE!
PLEASE stay away from this company for dog insurance. They denied claims that were clearly stated in the policy and tried to claim they were “pre-existing”. On top of that their customer service is horrible. Save your money and find a different insurance company.
I did research and thought this would be a good company to go with for my first-ever insured pet.
Afterwards, I keep hearing about how difficult Fetch is to work with regarding claims etc. So I am holding off on giving a great review until I've actually used the process.
Signing up was easy enough, let's hope the rest goes as smoothly!
Fetch - Be careful with Fetch
Be careful with Fetch. There is an excess on every condition your pet has that you claim for, meaning you don’t get any rebate until after you have exceeded the excess. In my case it was $200. They also took 2 weeks to even process my first claim and tell me that they approved it but wouldn’t pay me anything as it was under the excess amount. This sort of insurance is only good for really expensive visits like a costly emergency surgery, and even then you need to have the highest covers to get any decent sort of benefit. Other providers have much better coverage and service without the excess.
Fetch - This is the worst Insurance you can…
This is the worst Insurance you can buy. They increase your premium by 50% without notice. Once they charge your credit card with the increase, they won't credit your account.
Fetch - Bait and switch
Paid premiums for a year.my neutered,vaccinated
cat got sick for the first time in his life.when I submitted the claim, they replied, they needed his medical history.
I resubmitted the claim with his records.this confused fetch, telling my I submitted a duplicate claim.no,I submitted the same claim with his medical records you requested.so after 3 months they deny my claim.telling me I didn't take my cat to the vet to the vet in the last 12 months. He wasn't sick.(a wellness check?)So they keep taking my premiums, and they can send me e -mails
Telling me you deny my claim, but you can't send an email saying if you don't get your cat to the vet within 12 months,
YOU are NOT COVERED!fetchs motto Always take the money.I'm not new to pet insurance just new to their Con game. I rarely post bad reviews but i couldn't let this slide, you've Been warned.
