Fetch - Very poor reimbursement rate
Very poor reimbursement rate. Many exclusions. Submitted $315 for an annual visit with vaccines and 1 antibiotic, received $60 back. Did not accept initial adoption with vaccine invoice bc it was over 3 mo deadline. Terrible value for the cost.

Please don't believe what their page says!!
I did and now my dog almost died I had to get her to the emergency room due to unexpected bleeding , we didn't know she had a tumor, this was a "pre existing " illness. So the " emergency visit " coverage didn't approve it.
An Emergency is UNEXPECTED , things happen, COMPLICATIONS happen.
Dont waste your time and money with them.
Fetch - Fetch screwed us with outrageous rate increase
We have used Fetch pet insurance since they were PetPlan. We've had many policies for various dogs because we run a nonprofit dog rescue. We insured our rescue dogs while waiting to be adopted. We insured our own pet dogs. We recommended them to everyone.
$15000 coverage per year. How would that make any sense to pay. So now we are forced to cancel her policy which means any other company will not cover any pre-existing conditions she's had throughout her life. So they totally screwed us and that shows just how little they care about customer service and providing care for their customers and their pets.
Do NOT get a policy from Fetch. It may seem good when you first get it but it will go up in price every year significantly and when they get old and really need their health insurance you will no longer be able to afford it.
Go with another company that actually cares about pets and not just making money. They sure don't care!
Fetch - I provide everything required
I provide everything required, then a new information is requested. I already submitted his paperwork prior to filing any claims.
Fetch - They say a test of insurer is when you…
They say a test of insurer is when you make a claim. Fetch hace got an absolutely horrible claims experience. Chasing information and documents that you’ve already sent them and asking you to repeat info over and over again. When they finally got to the claim, the cover was so poor (even though it’s expeinsive) that they said I had nothing due back to me. What actually is the point of their insurance. Paying for nothing is a complete fraud. Don’t touch them.
Fetch - Request more and more records that…
Request more and more records that don't exist for a young cat. I submitted his vacination and neuter records when I got the policy. He has only been to the vet twice since then - once for annual check up - sent those records twice and once for dental work. Also sent those records. Now your asking for more records? He is only 18months old! Has been to vet 3 times! There is no number to call or email for contact. Sure is easy to buy the policy - not so much to use it.
Fetch - It’s a shady company…
It’s absolutely obvious that this shady company is creating fake reviews, because as soon as someone posts one negative review, on that very same day multiple five-star positive reviews appear to drown it out. Be careful, don’t get involved with this company.
Fetch - BUYER BEWARE - FETCH charges even after cancelation
BUYER BEWARE
My premium increased from $32 per month to $127 per month in a matter of just a few years. My dog is very healthy, and I’ve never had to place a claim. Tried to cancel the coverage, but the phone lines are always busy, so I canceled my card. I received an email from Fetch confirming that my coverage was canceled, but Fetch charged me anyway two weeks later - two months’ worth of premium - that’s over $250!!! I called but Fetch will not refund.
Fetch - Nightmare
So far it’s a nightmare just trying to put my vets information in
Fetch - Fetch Pet Insurance denied my cat's…
Fetch Pet Insurance denied my cat's emergency claim by calling it “pre-existing” — even though WA law (RCW 48.205) says pre-existing conditions must exist before coverage starts.
They buried a “pre-policy exam” rule deep in 36 pages and used it to deny coverage when Jelly Bean needed it most.
I’ve escalated this to the WA Insurance Commissioner. Pet parents deserve transparency and fairness.

Update: After posting this review, Fetch asked me to call them. For accountability, I prefer to keep all communications in writing. I have already appealed this denial and escalated the matter to the Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner, as the basis for denial raises compliance concerns under RCW 48.205. I welcome a written response from Fetch’s compliance team.
