If you are in Canada DO NOT BUY THIS INSURANCE! My Bill is never the same, they charge in U.S. dollars and convert to Canadian so that "rate" you are quoted is BS. Also, (at least from Canada) I could not see a breakdown of my Bill, I just had to "trust" that everything was okay. Some months my Bill would be $90, others it would be $120. I also was Never given a copy of my agreement.

All the company did was change its name, lower benefits, and RAISE prices. They were bought out by a huge, greedy corporation. I constantly receive "upsell" offers of junk.

I’m beyond disappointed with Fetch. Despite paying over $1,000 in premiums, I haven’t received a single reimbursement for my cat’s recent medical visits, all of which are clearly eligible under their policy. I've submitted multiple claims through their app and website, provided every required document, and followed up numerous times. Not once have I received a response.
They’ve completely ghosted me while I’ve been dealing with a sick pet and mounting vet bills. This is not only unprofessional, it's unethical. Their lack of communication is appalling, and at this point, it feels like they’re just taking my money without offering the coverage they promise.
Avoid Fetch at all costs. They are the worst, and I would never recommend them to anyone who actually cares about their pet.

I’ve been with this company for over 4 years, paying premiums faithfully every month to ensure my dog was covered in case of health issues. Like many pet owners, I got insurance to help during emergencies—not to be punished for actually using it.
Over the years, my dog developed health conditions (which is exactly why we get insurance), and I submitted claims when needed. Now, I’m being hit with a massive premium increase—from $83 to over $128 a month—because I used the insurance I paid for. Disgusting.
What makes it worse is that no other provider will take on my dog now due to pre-existing conditions, so I’m stuck with this company that clearly doesn’t care about animals or loyal customers. It’s a trap, and it feels like a scam. I now have to consider a second job just to afford this nonsense.
This company claims to care about pets, but in my experience, they only care about profit. Please do your research and think twice before signing up. Once you're in, they know you have no way out—and they take full advantage of that.

I initially thought it was a coincidence, but after posting a negative review about this insurance company, I quickly noticed an influx of positive reviews with suspiciously generic names. Now, same thing is happening to knew negative reviewers. It feels like they are artificially boosting their reputation. Very disappointed with their practices.

Would give them zero stars if I could. What a scam and a waste of money. Coverage is horrible, the app glitches , and they don’t cover anything. It is almost impossible to speak with a real person. All chat bots and it’s not helpful. Do not recommend!!!

My pet had cataract eye surgery in which they paid based on my policy. The next year they raised my deductible and lowed my reimbursement rate, but didn’t change my annual coverage.( I was surprised they kept my annual coverage at the rate I had originally selected) All these changes were due to my pet eye surgery. He had cataracts in both eyes. It’s like they penalized me for his surgery. They informed me that I can never have a lower deductible or a higher reimbursement rate as long as I with their company. This year they are raising my quarterly rate from $56.92 to $72.99. I had No payouts this period, but my quarterly payment increased by $16.07. I was informed by a letter. I’m in the process of changing from this insurance company-FETCH. All I can say, Don’t have major surgery for your pet, YOU WILL definitely be penalize for this!!!!
Fetch - For starters
For starters, I’ve been with this company since 2020. I’ve actually never had to “use” the insurance, but of course I got it for emergencies. My Chihuahua is 6 years old with very minimal health issues. My coverage went from the 40s, to the 50s, and now it’s at the 70s. I understand the factors that affect rates but what they are charging me now just isn’t justifiable. And the customer service is beyond poor. So I’m absolutely leaving this company and would encourage others to be very careful with them as well. You can definitely get cheaper elsewhere with great coverage and a company that actually cares about the clients that it serves.
Fetch - This will not be your average review
This will not be your average review. It is from the point of view of a customer that decided not to use Fetch. The reason for that decision was based on several factors. Number one was the incessant flood of emails that I received after adopting two kittens from an animal shelter, over two dozen emails so far. The second was the manipulative nature of the emails, with questions like "Do you consider pets to be part of the family?". The third is that after reading their policies and researching average pet owner veterinary expenses in the USA, it became obvious how they were making their money. The fourth was the reports of Fetch's escalation of premiums over time verses the actual rise in veterinary expenses nationwide and reports of increased premiums once claims were made.
So bottom line....Thanks, but no thanks.
