Fetch - The absolute worse ever
The absolute worse ever! They are incapable of making a proper reimbursement. Almost 2 years & i have yet to get my funds reimbursed. They deposited my money in someone else’s account. I was in the process of moving & their policy is to mail checks. I never received any checks. Now they insist they cannot deposit my funds in my account, must be a check. I highly suggest you find another insurance company. There are so many now i am having trouble determining which to go with. Good luck.
Fetch Canada - Horrible coverage
Horrible coverage - I paid the monthly fee uploaded all documents that were required. I had two claims - and they denied both based on not having a physical exam on my dog 12 months prior. I got the dog given to me by a elderly family member who passed and had no history on her or even knew which vet she had taken her too...as soon as I got her I took her for check up to the vet where they found some dental issues (they want to call it pre-exisiting) how is someone supposed to get coverage on older dogs? They want to be in the business of helping dogs - well they suck at it. I paid a monthly fee for literally nothing, I cancelled my policy and going with a different provider.
Not worth the headache dealing with FETCH!
Fetch - Fetch = Fraud
We signed up for pet insurance through Fetch for our dog, Nandi.
On June 16, 2023 we agreed to pay $46.13 per month, based on his health, age, and the coverage we needed. Then on April 16, 2024, we received a promotional email from Fetch asking if we would like to extend our coverage to include wellness care for Nandi.
We chose NOT enroll in the additional coverage being offered, however on that same day Fetch began charging us $83.03 for our monthly premium instead of our agreed upon $46.13.
When we approached Fetch to inquire about these fraudulent charges and to subsequently cancel our plan, their only priority was that they wanted us to continue our plan, and repeatedly refused to acknowledge or refund the fraudulent charges.
Out of the $498.12 we paid during those 6 months of inflated premiums, they owe us $221.34 in fraudulent charges which they refuse to send us.
Fetch - Absolutely a waste of money
Absolutely a waste of money. Stay away.
I had incurred approximately -$3,600 in vet bills throughout 2024.
Fetch's premium cost me about -$500.
Fetch reimbursed me for roughly +$500.
I cancelled the service after 9 months and figured I broke even on the premiums/reimbursements.
Then, 5 months after cancelling the service, they send me an email asking to repay them another -$350 due to some 'internal billing issues'.
This is 100% a money grab praying on pet owners that love their pets. Love your pets, pay the vet directly, this insurance is a scam.
Fetch - VERY POOR CANCELLATION OPTIONS
I was assured this policy would NOT auto-renew by the MO Humane Society. It did auto-renew. I emailed them to have it cancelled. No response. Two days later I FINALLY found a phone # to call as you CANNOT CANCEL ONLINE. After being sales-pitched nearly to death, the rep finally cancelled the plan, but not back to the date I emailed. Will see how soon my partial refund is given.
Fetch - Horrible experience
Horrible experience, bad customer service, they tell you its possible to cancel, its not, cannot delete card, they refuse to cancel. such a SCAM!
Fetch - Ridiculous policy premium increases
Ridiculous policy premium increases!
I have been a customer since 2020. After moving less than 5 miles away, my policy was "re-instated" to reflect my current address. My monthly payment went from $85 to $127 which is bad enough. When i called to discuss this I was told that my monthly installments were actually $157 and the $127 showing online is a "technical error". Almost double! for moving less than 5 miles!
Fetch - Mystery
Took her to the animal hospital, but never did find out the reason she was bleeding from the butt and mouth. She is better now, but still a mystery.
Fetch - Ive had Fetch for a year
Ive had Fetch for a year. I called to cancel about a month ago and was assured that had happened. I got an email stating that I had been billed again for the new year, so I called and got what started out as a pleasant enough person who put me on hold for about 3 minutes, then came back and told me she had cut the amount by about 50% and had just put the adjusted amount into effect. I explained that this was not necessary and PLEASE cancel the policy as I had requested. She instantly got sarcastic and condescending. I told her that her tone and sarcasm were not necessary to simply cancel a policy and instead of being nicer, she got worse and tried to talk louder than me, which did not go well. She finally said it was cancelled, and I had to hang up on her to get her to shut up.
Fetch - Where's my check?
It's been 2 months and I haven't received my check. I also was NOT reimbursed for the chip implant which was stated in the receipt and doctors notes.
