Signing up for pet insurance was made easy and the person who helped me was very thorough and obviously cared. However, the plan didn’t cover as much as it claimed to. I could have saved money if I just laid everything out of pocket. The coverage is so little. My $300+ claim was reimbursed $50 and there was no explanation of benefits. The document was blank/error, even for the support person I reached out to. She ended up sending me a breakdown of coverage and it was NOT what I remember signing for. The coverage was MUCH less. I honestly regret getting insurance but I don’t regret trying to get my kitten covered.

if I could choose no stars, that's what I would do. When I started my dog's policy back in 2017, I was told I would not be punished for using it but that's exactly what happened when he suffered issues in 2022, my benefits were cut. Now 2 years later, once my dog reached "senior" status, I was offered a renewal at a 45% increase in premium. The security I expected to have until my dog's death was ripped right out from under me, so the next medical issue he has will come as financial decision, not what is best for him. I will NEVER use this company again!!

Don’t be fooled by the self described “cute” app presentation, using bright colours and emojis to make it seem like they are your friendly next door pet insurance…This is a sneaky, soulless insurance company that will manipulate and squirm out of any claim it possibly can. Delay. Deny. Defend. I wouldn’t be surprised to see that written in big letters on the office whiteboard.

Absolute nightmare to deal with. They don’t read documents just instantly deny the claim then it takes 30 days to reassess then they came back and denied it again because they didn’t read the dates or notes and said it will take another 30 days to reassess! Good luck talking to a real person it’s all bots

I’ve been a policyholder for three years and took my dog to get a small lump on her right forearm And after spending $2100 at the vet, the portion of the insurance was declined because the vet didn’t have appropriate documentation on his well visit exam No money was paid in claim coverage towards the vet bill after I spent over $4000 in premiums I wasn’t offered a cent towards my dogs vet bill.

I strongly advise folks NOT to go with FETCH Pet Insurance. I ended my policy with FETCH due to their unethical practises. FETCH diagnosed my pet with a pre-existing condition that my pet doesn't even have, as an excuse to deny my claim ! FETCH's actions were contrary to the Veterinarian's medical records for my pet ! I will do my absolute best to put the word out there (in Social Media) in hopes that folks don't get taken advantage of by FETCH Pet Insurance.

Run! They bound a policy though a third party without asking for the account owner name, charged my card, and bound it to the wrong person. Fetch then refused to cancel my policy or refund my card without “consent of the person on the policy” even though it was their system that made a mistake when binding it. Ridiculous. I talked to an agent and even after explaining what happened there was no resolution they kept repeating the same thing over and over, I asked to talk to someone else and explained the bug in their system, and she still kept repeating the same thing. I asked for a refund or cancellation and got the same thing. The only way I can get a refund is by a chargeback, and I am unable to get the policy changed.

I ended up with a cat that my daughter brought home from college. I bought Fetch Insurance in mid summer. My cat had his first visit to a vet in December and needed eardrops for a yeast infection. DENIED. The vet also said we should have his teeth cleaned which Fetch advertised that they would cover. DENIED. All claims in the first 12 months of your policy will be DENIED as pre-existing conditions. Buyer beware. I wish I was an an attorney and read all the fine print. Here's the kicker. When I called to cancel, they made me pay a prorated amount since the date of my last payment. I'm sure it's a very profitable business. Denying customer claims makes money for the insurance industry. Pets are no exception.

Absolutely awful experience. Anything I’ve tried to put through for both of my animals has been a nightmare.. I got email saying I don’t have a file with them today. Got an email asking me for information from my other insurance company. I don’t have another insurance company.. They don’t seem to know who I am. I get told to submit information and they review it and they rejected it. I’m just confused. I do not like this company whatsoever. I can’t give it a high rating whatsoever either.. I would use a different organization if I were you. When it was a mistake, it took over two months to fix and over 20 phone calls. Confirm me it was fixed and in the end, not getting the claim reviewed so far every kind of put through from my one dog has been denied for some reason or other, they seem to find things and make up things so they were a bit of a joke.. The front end people are sweet, but not very bright. The back of people Don’t seem to connect with the front line people whatsoever or read the notes I give his company a zero rating. If you $162 a month in this company has cost me more than I could ever spend on the dogs just crazy. Add a different organization in the past with mother animals never had this problem.

Fetch Pet Insurance is an absolute scam. We filed a $9,000 claim for our pet’s medical expenses and received literal pocket change in compensation. Their policies are riddled with fine print designed to deny your claims, and their so-called “coverage” is a joke. They don’t care about your pets or their well-being — it’s all about the money. Avoid this company at all costs if you value your pet’s health and your wallet. Do yourself a favor and find an insurance provider that actually cares. Fetch is nothing more than a predatory business hiding behind a façade of concern for animals. Total disgrace.
