Fetch Canada - Extremely difficult to deal with
If you have ample time to debate with these people and call in on every claim, resubmit every detail multiple times and waste hours or your life, it’s right for you.
Your app needs more space to put in notes as a one liner description is inadequate since your team does not examine documents thoroughly.
I have had to submit & appeal basically everything I did; To the point where I waited on all my claims to be completed before I made my call as I don’t have time to call on each and every claim every step of the way.
Do not waste your money.

Fetch are the most deceitful and scammiest pet insurance provider that is out there. Avoid them. They gave me a day where I would be able to submit claims and they changed the date by one day to avoid paying for my claim. They advertised one thing and then changed it by one day after the 15 day waiting period. They are liars. I have provided feedback but they really could care less. They will probably respond here and say oh please let us know what has happened. I will email them and get in contact and they will not give a darn. Stay away from Fetch they are an absolute scam.

They changed my coverage from 80% to 50%, increased my deductible from 300$ to 1000$ and significantly increased premium all of a sudden. Very disappointed as this is not how insurance is supposed to work.

The worst pet insurance company that I have ever worked with.
They are rude and ignorant, and they threaten me to cancel my insurance.
Three times I got an email and I have all three.
I spoke to two people at French and I explained the situation with my credit card being lost and having to get another one.
And their response was to worry about it you have a few extra days and I can't sleep right away it takes time so I'm not sure.
The human that sent the message or a robot, either way they can take their insurance and stick it where the sun doesn't shine this is not professional customer service.
It's rude and you don't threaten someone to cut it off.
If I were you I would do your research before you get your pet insurance I didn't.
I picked fetch right away without looking at others and now I regret it.

Oh yeah they also said that then canceling my insurance from my cat.
Would mean that anything that happened before the cancellation will not be accepted with the next Insurance company.
Does anyone know if there's an agency that governs pet insurance company's in Canada and the states.
Fetch Canada - Not consistent! Adjusters make issues out of nothing.
I have submitted 2 claims through Fetch insurance. The first claim went through fine - no problems. The second claim came back flagged because an exam note from 3 years prior for my dog's annual vaccination appointment did not state her health status. Side note: this was the same medical record I used for her first claim that had no issues.
Obviously if nothing was noted on her exam notes, nothing was wrong with her.
They nit pick on big claims once you've paid your deductible - I called customer service and they were rude so I asked to cancel. I was transferred to another agent to cancel and she was confused to why this was even a problem - she reached out to the adjusters and stated there was no issues with my medical records and that if there was no negative notes for that appointment then to assume that she was healthy (common sense). If there are more issues with this claim, I will be cancelling. This claim has been pointlessly dragged out for weeks.
To edit my post: the first agent I spoke to wasn’t per se rude, but very dismissive to the point I wanted to cancel and was happy to assist with that. The second agent I spoke to was very understanding and talked me out of cancelling.
Update: edited my review from 1 to 3 stars. They were very prompt with processing my claim after the vet called them and said there’s nothing more to submit. I am hoping going forward I won’t have the same issues with her medical records if I need to submit future claims.

Mirroring a review I have seen below, they have zero interest in helping our animals…zero, extremely challenging to deal with to get our pup the help he needed and we couldn’t get a reimbursement at all for a general health check which had been included in our plan.
The worst for me is, we just got charged an increased price without further notification of said increase or that a renewal was going to occur.
This company is essentially a money grab and using celebrity vets to pump up their name! Shame on you.
Like any other insurance company it is only just about taking money and nothing about helping. They filled me full of shit about ‘waiving’ non coverage periods when you get seen within certain periods of coverage beginning…I was lied to.
The response I got below is utter nonsense, if they gave a crap they would do the right thing and not just take money without ever showing a willingness to care for animals. WILL BE CANCELLING! And they charged an expired card

Bought insurance for my kitten and during the first year she felt a bit sick so took her to the vet and she got treated for a slight respiratory virus. Fetch didn’t cover because of some BS they stated. It wasn’t a lot of money so I said ok I will let it slide. It came time to neuter her and I opted for a plan that covered part of neutering. Nope denied too because it needed an add on. They are complete crooks, stay away.
