Thank goodness our dog did not have any health issues this year, so we did not need to use the insurance.

Was good the first year but now it seems I constantly get claims denied for all kinds of different reasons? Never the same answer on why from the reps I speak to? Inconsistency big time lately? Once you have any pre existing, they figure they’ve got you stuck so the denials begin I guess. It’s always about the almighty dollar I guess with all insurance companies. Sad. 😞

The worst support I have ever experienced. The length it took to process a claim is unbelievable. No one seemed informed enough to tell me when reimbursement would be processed. I am not happy and have canceled the policy.
Figo Pet Insurance - Figo closes claims within 24 hours to avoid payouts.
I have been incredibly disappointed in Figo. The company goes out of its way to obstruct the claims process, via prematurely closing claims within 24 hours of requesting documentation, requesting documentation from veterinarians unrelated to the claim (even a veterinary office that had never seen my pet before), and using middle men in customer service to prevent direct communication with claims adjusters, and claiming pre-existing conditions if nothing else works. I feel that Figo does not care about the satisfaction of its customers or the health of their pets. I have cancelled auto-renewal of my policy, and have told other people to stay away from Figo.

I have purchased an insurance policy for my cat since 2019. In 2020, my cat was not feeling well. I brought him in to our local vet for a check up. Check ups were not covered in my policy at that time. The doctor noted that my cat was constipated, and recommended a science diet recipe.
