How manipulative to spam me requesting a review when I just signed up for this insurance and I can't even use it yet for my cats. Of course they want a review before you can even become disappointed! For this, I am giving ZERO stars.

These charges should go against my deductible

When we signed the contract, there was no mention that we should have and keep all records for our pet. However, while our spending meets the deductible line, Pumpkin starts asking us for all the records from the born of our pets. Even a tooth cleaning claim. The thing is, our previous pet hospital does not give us medical records, so there is no way for us to obtain any medical records once we drop out of Banfield. We've reached out to explain our situation and request an explanation, but the claim was rejected the day after. Also, all of our claim were rejected after the deductible line was met. Very bad experience.

It’s probably too soon for me to make a fair assessment. The staff are wonderful people to communicate with, but so far I have been very frustrated with the reimbursement process. Also, as helpful as the staff might be, there doesn’t seem to be much communication between departments, which causes me to have to resubmit information. I know that it is necessary that they receive details on the doctor visit to process claims, but I am still waiting to receive any reimbursement for care. I will look further into what I may be doing wrong, and give it some more time

I find it useless as a insurance..its nothing like health insurance. If you dog is a diabetic and needs meds or god know surgery because a kidney is falling ect you won't cover it because its a previous condition do to diabetes.. That is just a example..I will be canceling and putting the 200 dollars a month in a saving for my babies.. I get not covering medication but if a surgery comes up for said condition you won't cover is crazy..said condition caused cancer in let's say a yr nope its said condition related.. Waste of money..

My question was never answered as to how do I report visits to Pumpkin for reimbursement. Maybe if someone would contact me with an answer I could give a better rating. If not, I’ll be cancelling with Pumpkin and looking elsewhere for pet insurance. The amount I’m paying in insurance monthly would be better used as savings for when my boys need to visit the vet.

I gave a 5 star not long ago, but then renewal came and they want an additional 60 dollars a month. Price hike out of control. When I started with this company for both of my cats it was less than 130 a month. Now they want 216. I understand with aging comes increase, but 99 a month for a cat is insane, what will it be when he's 16.

Overall good. But very disappointed on I’m guessing a new change since I signed up since I called in & asked questions on different care options & now apparently things are not covered.

The coverage looks good but after having this for only a year, we received a renewal for over 25% increase per month. My dog is very healthy and six years old. Never had to file a claim, but moving to just using a savings account versus shelling out $1289 a year in premiums and still handle a $1k deductible.

They have canceled several claims and have not responded to the replies. They take more than a week to respond to an email, and after denying your claim, they string you along for days and then refuse to accept the re-claim.
