I am not happy with the coverage of the Wellness plan. I have had Pets Best Insurance for the fifth year now. The insurance cost have been going up every year which I understand but the wellness plan's benefit coverage had stayed same at $305 since 2021. Due to inflation, the costs of annual check, flea/tick prevention, vaccines, blood exam, etc. have all gone up. I called customer service a few times asking for corporate to review this but had not seen any wellness benefit coverage improvement. Please review and adjust the coverage. Thank you.

2 stars for nice customer rep on phone when I finally got to them. 0 stars for policy transparency. Buyer beware: if you want any coverage for dental incidents, your dog MUST have had a cleaning within 13 months of signing up or they won't cover ANYTHING dental. Even if you have had previous cleanings in the pet's life as needed. They hide this in fine print. So maybe not the best policy for little dogs who tend to get dental issues.

Horrible insurance, if you can even call that. they declined two previous claims and paid about 30% if the last claim fir a condition that was not pre-existing.

I have been with this company for many pets . I have been with this company with my current girl for 7 years. I do not turn many claims in and understand the process and terms. the outlandish citings they gave for the last 1/ cracked tooth had to be extracted. they did not cover it because, I DIDNT HAVE MY DOGS TEETH CLEANED UNDER ANESTHESIA THE FIRST THREE YEARS OF HER LIFE. That is insane. the vet couldnt even believe it and has never heard that before. the second claim, was that my dog was acting very strange after a severe thunderstorm in the mountains. she wasnt eating going on two days. not interested in anything. DENIED THAT CLAIM WITH NO EXPLAINATION. I guess mental health (if that is what it was ) is not a thing with pets. THIS COMPANY HAS RAISED RATES AND STARTED DENYING LEGITAMATE CLAIMS. I AM SORRY I EVER REFERRED MY FRIENDS TO THEM.

The price of premiums keeps going up and yet the amount of reimbursement is down. I waited almost 3 weeks to find out that basically none of my pets yearly checkup was covered. I think it’s time to look into other providers.

A lot of the regular charges are not "applicable" to you all and thus dismissed. Also your reimbursement time frame is far from fast. My insurance for a relatively healthy dog keeps going up year over year with really no reasoning.

They wouldn’t approve a wellness claim because the receipt also included a toy I bought my dog. I was not asking them to pay for the $3 toy in fact the visit summary showed exactly what the itemized vaccines were.

I have been a customer for 4 years. I have paid approximately 9,000 in premiums, and have used the policy very little. In my last vet visit my dog received those annual shots. It was 10 days before the date allowed (unbeknownst to me) so my $100 reimbursement was declined. I canceled my insurance policy and will never recommend this company to anyone.

This company indicates it gives you back 90% which a lie NEVER have I gotten back nearly half of my vet bills. Always finding a loophole

I have serious concerns about Pet Best. I signed up my new puppy, against my better judgment, my 8 year old Shih Tuzu was on this and they paid nothing when she got sick. My puppy....I took her to get her first immunizations and I submitted the claim and they said she had maxed out her claims.....it was the first claim she had ever had. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. Find something better than this.
