You can cover actual conditions. My dog was diagnosed with airway issues that needed boas surgery 2 years after the start of the policy and was never noted any earlier and you denied coverage based on preexisting condition. She was never diagnosed before with this issue

My 5 year old staffy was dying of lymphoma, I put in a claim for all the test he needed, it took them a month to stop asking me for the same documents over and over, then my dog died, they denied my claim saying i didnt have that coverage, when I promise you, I did have it

It is going on my 2nd month and they say they reimbursed me but didn't. They also are taking alot longer on older claims than new ones that they aren't even reimbursing when they say they did. I don't understand when they have all the appropriate paper work. I think they want you to make more premium payments before they actually pay you. Just my thought lol. Not facts. They need to speed up the process because that is very inconvenient. If I would have known I would not have signed up. Im going to give a little longer though and see

Price is the only good thing about my Pets Best policy. Everything else is terrible, especially trying to get paid for claims. I have a diabetic cat and have to submit claims for him regularly and it's a nightmare.

I felt the time it took to review and approve a simple claim was excessive.

Pets Best denied my claim for my dogs chemotherapy treatment. They have covered all past claims for his treatment and this is not considered a pre-existing condition. I have an unlimited reimbursement amount. They've been covering it up until now and then denied it for "take home prescription medication" are you kidding me???? Can this company read? The claim I submitted clearly shows my bill as in house chemotherapy that was performed in a hospital. What kind of company can't even tell that chemotherapy IV treatment is not done at home as a prescription, this is basic medical knowledge. Pets Best is SCAMMING me and ILLEGALLY denying my claims!!!!!

Pets Best is a nightmare. It's taken over 40 days to have 1 vet visit "reviewed". The repeated requests for a full year of records for a dog just adopted from the shelter is absurd. Submitting LA County Animal Care records to be told they're "invalid". If it wasn't so time consuming and irritating, the ignorance would be hilarious.
