Pets Best - Terrible and Horrible do not even cover it
We paid $60 a month for what turned out to be completely worthless insurance. When we rescued our dog—literally off the street after someone abandoned her—we did it out of compassion and the hope that we could give her a better life. We signed her up for Pets Best thinking we’d have some support for her medical care, but when it came time to file claims related to her heartworms, they denied everything. Their reason? They claimed it was a pre-existing condition and that we were somehow aware of it before we got her insured. That is blatantly untrue. We rescued her, with no medical history, no background—just a dog in desperate need of help.
Pets Best showed no compassion, no common sense, and no intention of doing what insurance is supposed to do: help people care for their pets. This company is more interested in taking your money than actually providing support when it matters. Don't waste your time, and definitely don't waste your money. If you're trying to help a rescue animal like we were, look elsewhere—this company will leave you hanging.

This company sucks!! I have submitted dental claims twice to no avail! This time the are going to pay $150 of a $1500. bill!!
That is rediculous! I will not continue to pay a 3 month fee of > $266. for what I have received in return! You people are nuts! I will also report this company!
Pets Best - DO NOT USE PETSBEST INSURANCE
I have never once gone online to leave a review for a company. Good or bad. But i feel absolutely inclined to get on here and leave a review for PetsBest Insurance. I have never had a worse experience then when I was trying to submit a claim through them. It has taken a month of countless phone calls and emails to get ahold of a "supervisor" for them to just tell me my claim was missing one document. Every person I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude and not helpful whatsoever. The fact that this insurance costs 70$ a month is COMICAL!!!!! I will never refer this company and my business with PetsBest will be stopped immediately. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS SCAM COMPANY!!!!!!!

Pets Best - Horrible
They deny 99% of claims. They always say pre-existing conditions, when they are not. When I first got the dog from the shelter, his first sickness they denied for pre-existing condition. I should have took that as a sign.
....but not so much anymore. I've had Pet's Best exclusively for my Keeshond since he was a puppy (10 yrs.). The service prior to Covid was stellar. After Covid it's gone down hill. Model changes, price changes, slow claims processes and generally it seems like another company totally. I have even sent referrals to them prior to Covid, but I won't anymore. If my pup wasn't 10, I'd find another provider, but I can say, I will not be utilizing Pet's Best in the future with any future pets. I'm so disappointed.

I've dealt with them several times and have found them to be VERY SLOW in processing claims. Additionally, they say they've paid a claim and it takes forever to actually receive it. Also, when asked why it takes so long, they simply say "short staffed." I made the comment, "maybe I should have considered a different pet insurer," their response was simply, "that's totally up to you. I guess they figure that one less client means less claims to process. I would seriously suggest that you consider other pet insurance options.
Pets Best - Just slow and not the best insurance
Claim processing is rather slow. Customer service is rather slow. I should’ve done more research before signing up with them because now that I know there are definitely other insurance companies that are better and at this point I’m kind of stuck with them because another insurance company won’t cover anything that’s already been covered they can consider it pre-existing so my dog deals with allergies and if I go to a different insurance company, they won’t cover the allergy treatments now.
But at least it is some insurance and it’s somewhat covered so at least I’m getting something back although at a delayed pace and not at a high rate.
