Pets Best - Never covers anything
Never covers anything. Always a loophole why none of the claims are covered
Pets Best - Loyalty doesn’t matter any longer. So Sad!
Had to cancel my policy have been a customer since the day I got my French Bulldog at 8 am weeks old. I had done extensive research on pet insurance companies & had Pets Best lined up before I even had my frenchie in my home so I have been devout customer for 3 years and 2 months! Very disappointed that the representative didn’t even try & keep us as customers actually felt like she may have been doing something else as well, it was Friday afternoon. Just felt very insignificant after our loyalty to Pets Best. But finding out loyalty doesn’t really matter anymore. What a shame.
Pets Best - Peace of Mind
My pup had to have a tumor removed and than Radiation treatment. Knowing the claim would be taken care of I could concentrate on my pups healing.
Pets Best - Try hard to get out of paying for emergencies
Have had this insurance for almost 10 years, but as usual when you really need them they what to classify an accident as a medical condition to get out of paying emergency vet bills.
Pets Best - They make you pay a copay on your own money meeting your deductible
Not pleased
Pets Best - Find a different pet Insurance company
I paid my premiums EVERY MONTH for over 2 years. Difficulty with online claim filing (unable to upload documents) left me with 2 years of no help with vet bills. Finally customer service gave an email address. After spending hours sending all my ITEMIZED INVOICES FROM THE VET OFFICE, the claim was denied stating the invoices needed to be itemized??? I inquired about getting which invoices were unacceptable. Only response was that they were not itemized. APPARENTLY I HAVE DONATED $1000 TO PETS BEST IN THE PAST FEW YEARS. Please check out another company. Don't donate your hard earned money to this company, like I was forced to do.
Pets Best - I called customer service and can't…
I called customer service and can't talk to anyone that can explain if I buy the brand of over the counter medicine, on your formulary, for Whiskey, who was diagnosed with Pancreatic insufficiency, whether it will be covered. Then I was told no one can answer that question, this is like property insurance, not medical insurance. This isn't a proper way to run a pet medical Insurance service. It would be nice if someone could answer my question.
Pets Best - Scam company
My dog ingested a foreign object from the trash, which caused him to vomit. Initially, he vomited a corn cob. Unfortunately, vomiting continued weekly, and the vet ultimately diagnosed him with pancreatitis. Treatment is ongoing, and we may need to perform X-rays.
Pet Best Insurance deemed this incident not an accident and denied coverage. This highlights their tendency to find excuses to avoid paying claims. I strongly advise against purchasing insurance from them.
Pets Best - I brought my dog in for a routine spay…
I brought my dog in for a routine spay / neuter procedure. Bill was $1000 and the insurance paid $20. Don’t see how that’s not a covered service?
Pets Best - Better to not have insurance
They hide everything in the fine print. Their accident and illness plan doesn’t cover the emergency exam portion of your emergency visit which is often half of the price of taking your pet to an emergency vet. They also only pay $150 towards spay/neuter and won’t cover anything that is labeled as pre-op such as medications or the pre-op visit, even though they advertise covering spay/neuter. We paid $71/month for 9 months with a new puppy (lots of exams, vaccines, office visits, neuter, and emergency visits) and got reimbursed a whopping $200 total in that time because nothing is covered or even counts toward your deductible. It makes more sense to not have this insurance.
