Have an issue with your insurance?
Let everyone know!
Insurance companies are constantly reviewing us. Are we too old? Do we live in the wrong place? Is our credit score high enough? Well, now it's time to turn the tables. Do you charge too much? Will you pay my claim quickly? Is your coverage worse than it seems? We can review you too.
Fetch Pet - TERRIBLE
TERRIBLE! I'm so endlessly disappointed.
Lemonade - Very poor customer support
Very poor customer support. Takes several days to get an answer and then in the middle of a conversation, they just don’t respond anymore.
Pet Insurance - I was charged but never got any policy…
I was charged but never got any policy info.
MetLife Pet Insurance - they used to be good and cover all they advertised
they used to be good and covered all the advertised. Now they nickle and dime and are advising g a 35% rate increase. I plan to cancel soon.
Lemonade - Insurance company unreachable
Insurance company unreachable. The only way to contact them is by message, and the response time is very long, if not nonexistent. I have a leak at home and I haven't heard from them for 3 days despite my reminders. Run away from this insurance company that leaves you alone to face your problem.
ASPCA Pet Insurance - Used to be decent
The policy changed hands to another company and is terrible now. The total monthly premium costs the same amount as the deductible. And there is a very low limit for coverage annually. I’d be paying out $1400 annually for a $2500 limit of coverage. It honestly makes more sense to just put the money in a savings account every month.
Embrace Pet Insurance - 96% premium price increase
I've used Embrace for seven years and have no complaints about the coverage or reimbursement process, but for the second year in a row the premium for one of my dogs has spiked significantly.
ASPCA Pet Insurance - This pet insurance was the worst experience!!!
This pet insurance has been the worst experience so far. I've had nothing but trouble when trying to use it. They always claim it's a pre-existing condition. My teacup Pomeranian has short legs, which means when he jumps too high, he dislocates his kneecap (luxating patella). The vet says he needs surgery to stabilize the knee joint after a tear of the cranial cruciate ligament, and that surgery costs $3,800. But this insurance company denied my claim, saying it was a pre-existing issue. It's so frustrating to pay for insurance all year, and then when you actually need it, they just won't cover anything. I definitely don't recommend this pet insurance. They only care about the money and don’t seem serious at all!
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance - Claim taking weeks to review as they ask for information I’ve already provided
Healthy paws advertises in big print on their front page that most claims are settled in two days.
ManyPets - Ridiculously long processing times
The company was great initially about two years ago. Now, they are horrible. You can't speak to anyone by phone. Claim times are ridicluously long. The last one was seven weeks, but only closed when I emailed them. Even the email response was delayed.
