DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM! booked 2 appointments with them and the vet didnt show up to the zooms. Customer support is only through their chat and they just said "we are investigating why they didnt show". TRASH COMPANY
Dutch Pet Insurance - Slow Service and No Response When Problems Arise
I want to love this service so badly. While you can get an appointment the same day (great!), it takes a week to get an RX (not great!). They charge a fee to transfer the prescription to Costco, but it still takes several days. I don't understand why this process isn't electronic and completed within a few hours.
Dutch Pet Insurance - Misleading advertising
Misleading advertising. They charge you for the full subscription, making it seem like you will get services that you then have to pay more for. Terrible customer service. A scam.
Dutch Pet Insurance - Not very honest!!
Be careful sending money to this company!! They are not honest about Rx prescriptions as many states have ruled online prescriptions illegal!! Such as Montana,but this company does not inform you if your state allows it so your pet could suffer!!
Dutch Pet Insurance - fraudulent website
fraudulent website, they only charge, but never received the service the zoom calls never show up the vet, to see my cat. scam do not recommended. they charge $146 for a service they do not provided and $25 for every zoom vet video call they never show up and charge me $75 FOR 3 CALLS THEY NEVER SHOW UP, scam stay away do not pay them.
Dutch Pet Insurance - Might be good for general meds
My 12 year old dog has a growth on her hind leg since she has mobility issues Dutch worked. The vet was very nice but if you think you’re getting more than the 10 minute window allotted to you you’re not. That was fine too. Prescriptions were given. Antibiotic cream, antibiotic and pain meds. I checked out and the time span given to receive the scripts was reasonable ($20 to expedite) until it actually shipped. Then 5 days was added to the delivery date for my dog that has what looks like an infection. If prescriptions are going to literally ship from one side of the country to the other the consumer should know that. Now I’ve spent $200 on scripts my dog has to wait to receive. I thought the extra money was worth it so she’d be more comfortable but her waiting for medication isn’t helping her. If you just need general care? Yeah maybe this will work. A week and a half for needed meds? Absolutely not!!

Absolute horrible. I’m not even certain we talked to a real veterinarian. No advise on a 4 minutes call and it was over. This service is terrible.

**REPLY TO DUTCH: Your team never reached out to me regarding tracking, your response is misleading. **INITAL REVIEW: They are missing the mark on user experience. Getting an appointment is great but it is impossible to find and track your pet's paid for medicine order. Told it would arrive in a day or two but no order or any tracking available on their actual site, I never recieved an email about my paid order, nor a text. Two days later I'm wondering what's going on, no notifications. I had to find the order via the webpage on my phone where I placed and paid for it initially, thank God I kept the page and didn't x out of it. Then was directed to a third party app from Shopify to track the order and there isn't any tracking there either. Dutch should have all of this information in one place, similar to Amazon. I shouldn't have to go to three different places to find and track a medical order. I still don't have any updates. One med says in transit but no tracking information, the other three look like they are sitting in the queue but again, no update. It's stressful, especially when you have a senior dog in pain. This site should allow images to be uploaded so that I can show the complicated steps it takes just to track medicine orders.

The doctor was pleasant, the appointment went great. The prescription process is a nightmare. Very unclear instructions. Was told to order from an outside pharmacy and now I’m waiting for the prescription to be authorized. So it’s not helpful if you can’t get the antibiotics in a timely manner, nor does it help if the pharmacy they tell you to use (petmeds) doesn’t carry 1 of the 2 prescriptions prescribed. So then what do you do .. because you don’t have a physical prescription to take to another place. So I’m not recommending Dutch.com
Dutch Pet Insurance - Did not go well
This whole thing is a scam. You get a video call from some flunkie claiming to be a veterinarian who tells you they're creating a prescription for your sick pet. Then the prescription is never shipped because Dutch.com won't "approve the prescription." RUN. Contacting my bank about the fraudulent charges right now.
