Fetch - Fetch is the biggest scam I have ever…
Fetch is the biggest scam I have ever seen in my entire life. They repeatedly had issues with my claim even though I provided them with all of the information I had, and they even were in touch with the vet. They then accused me of hiding records for my animal so that it wouldn’t reflect on their account. I cancelled my policy immediately. Of course they refused to reimburse me for any of the visit even though some of the services were covered. A joke. Do not use them.
Fetch - Warning
Warning, do not get this insurance for your pet. My pets policy went up from $65 monthly to $179 monthly from 2024 to 2025. I have been a customer for 9 years and have referred many people. I will no longer keep a policy with this company or recommend it after this experience. I’m deeply saddened by this price gouging.
Disappointed Vet Tech
Fetch Canada - Avoid Fetch Pet Insurance at All Costs!
I brought my cat to Canada last year and decided to insure her with Fetch. They didn’t require any documents when I signed up, so I assumed everything was straightforward. Last month, my cat developed skin allergies and needed treatment, which included a vet visit and vaccinations. When I submitted the claim, Fetch suddenly asked for her previous medical records.
Since she hadn’t seen a vet here in Canada before this, I provided her medical records from my home country. Fetch didn’t accept those records and denied my claim, refusing to cover the cost of her treatment.
This company seems to find any excuse to deny claims. If they had needed earlier records from Canadian vets, why didn’t they ask when I enrolled? The whole process feels like a scam. If you’re considering pet insurance, I strongly recommend avoiding Fetch!
Fetch Canada - Removes services, increases pricing
My dog is now 11 years old. My insurance started at about $900/ year which I got when oliver was 3 months old. I've had 2 or 3 claims over the years which wasn't even fully covered even though I had 100percent then.
They have since reduced my coverage to 90 percent, increased deductible, removed the death benefit I had and drastically increased prices.
The last price increase I was told about was up to $2400/year. And this year I just noticed the increase again to $3925/year. I wish I would have noticed it 6 months ago as the last 2 payments went unnoticed as I wasn't looking at my credit card statement close enough.
$4000 per year is rediculous. I guess that's how they get you to cancel when your dog is older.
Fetch - FRAUD - Keeps Billing You After Cancelling Policy
Fetch makes it very difficult to cancel a policy. It is impossible to cancel online and nearly impossible to reach them by phone during their business hours. So in lieu of being able to cancel easily online, I deleted my credit card information so that they would have to cancel my policy when my payment failed.
I received no less than eight notices that my payment had failed and my policy would be canceled. This is what I wanted, so I did not respond to these notices, trusting that my policy would indeed be canceled.
Imagine my shock when I opened my credit card statement and discovered they are STILL BILLING ME despite having sent me EIGHT notices that my policy would be canceled, two months after I DELETED MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. It appears they have gone through their records, found my previously saved credit card information, and used it to continue billing me after I explicitly withdrew my consent to use said credit card information.
I came to Trustpilot immediately after filing a formal complaint with the California Department of Insurance. After the Thanksgiving holiday, I will call my credit card issuer and dispute the fraudulent transactions, and I will supplement my Department of Insurance report with a fraud report to the California Attorney General's office.
If you are in the same situation, please report the fraud to the Department of Insurance in your state. This is absolutely illegal and I will get my money back even if I have to pay the Small Claims filing fee and sue them myself to do it. I was obviously unhappy with Fetch already, hence the desire to cancel, and using my credit card information without my consent after I expressly deleted it is the absolute last straw.
Fetch - Fetch insurance is a total scam
Fetch insurance is a total scam, they have no phone number to contact them. After being a customer for one and a half years they would not even reimburse me for my dog's ear infection! the total invoice was 92.00 dollars. My monthly payments were 65.00 dollars!! go figure a scam.
Fetch Canada - The amount of the repayment for our dog…
The amount of the repayment for our dog spay surgery was about 15 % of the cost! This insurance is not worth the cost!
Fetch - Pharmacy is Horrible
The pet insurance has been great. The pharmacy is horrible too many games. Too many lies don't buy from this pharmacy. Spoke with Kristina this morning and i get the impression that she cares and worked to resolve my problems in a timely manner. Thank you Kristina.
Fetch - Poor cutomer service
Poor cutomer service. I have been waiting over 30 days for a pre-approval before dental work under their "every tooth covered" policy. In trying to get an update I only receive automated or scripted replies with no real information.
They cover my pet's medication no problem but even if they end up covering her dental I cannot recommend them based on the support I have received relating to the claim.
Fetch - They claim they don't penalize you for…
They claim they don't penalize you for claims; but you will be coverage reductions and multiple fold price increases if you want to keep the policy.
Since you have one shot on pet insurance to avoid pre-existing clauses, this is not a company that you want to keep if you have to actually use the insurance.
