Figo Pet Insurance - I had a problem submitting a claim
I had a problem submitting a claim, and it told me to call. I called and they said to leave a message and they would get back to me. They did not. And it’s not the first time where they’ve asked you to leave a message and they don’t call you back. Submitting claims is confusing and it doesn’t give you full information.
Figo Pet Insurance - Good insurance but have to almost always appeal my claims
I like Figo because is easy to submit claims and update my dog’s coverage. Every time I call I get someone in the phone as well. My only problem is that every time I submit a claim I always have to appeal as many of my dogs claims do not get pay and it takes more time and work to get them fix. Overall my experience has being ok but I feel it could be better.

Figo Pet Insurance - Premium raised 16% after one year with no claims
I’ve had the insurance for a year and not filed any claims in that time, so I can’t rate the service. However, my dog will be 5 years old this spring and my premium was raised 16% for this second year. Will it go up another 16% next year, and for subsequent years?

Honestly I think the insurance is a complete waste of money. I have had no luck getting anything back for treatment - there is always some excuse. My dog did have a vet visit in December and I haven’t even submitted a claim yet because it’s time consuming and will likely be rejected. Definitely rethinking your company and have not recommended your company to fellow pet owners
Figo Pet Insurance - Figo annual renewal policy communication
Our policy is set on automatic renewal but I received no communication from Figo that our renewal was soon coming due. A simple text or email telling us our renewal was coming due would have been appreciated. Instead, boom, the new renewal rate showed up on our statement. C'mon Figo, not that hard to communicate something important like this, is it?
