Go Pet Plan - Absolutely worst customer service ever
Absolutely worst customer service ever! Do not waste your money. I spent 2 months only to be told they do not cover tick born disease without proof of preventative. I provided receipts I had, but my mom and I shared stuff because both had big dogs and cheaper when bought in bulk (4 dogs). She has passed away and I have no idea of where she bought, or even if they would accept receipt if I found it. I have provided everything they asked for and then they wanted Doctor's notes? Seriously? They took my money for 6 years and try to make a claim and this was my experience. Sad and cancelling and looking elsewhere.

I had both dogs(ages 4& 5) insured for 2 years. I put through a claim for my younger one. He had a bad reaction to a flea med. long story short ...they only paid 39 dollars for a 670.00 claim then upon renewal raised my premium with no explanation. My other pup who had no claims didn't receive her 30 percent discount and the reason was...her policy is low enough and they can't go any lower. What bull! I ended my insurance immediately and got insurance a lot cheaper and better coverage. I would not recommend at all. Terrible customer service and policies set to help them not the customer.
Go Pet Plan - Terrible experience!!!
This company was good - about 4-5 years ago. I was told then that because of new underwriters their prices were going up - and the dramatic increase would be a one off. That was not true. The prices go up between 20 - 83% (yes 83!) every year. The customer service is terrible!!!!! They delay assigning claim numbers and processing claims. I regularly have to submit claims 2 or 3 times just to get a claim number. They regularly lose invoices, which delays processing the claim. They open and close and open claims for unknown reasons - again delaying processing the claim. Once they do process a claim it takes much longer now to receive the check. They do not respond to emails. I was told a couple years ago to cc one of their customer service managers on claim submissions and emails so that claims would be processed quicker. That was another false statement. That "customer service manager" ignores emails too. It takes multiple emails, phone calls, and a ridiculous amount of time to process any claim or get any information.
Go Pet Plan - Will lower coverage if you have claims
Over the past 6 years I have recommended petplan to everyone and I am so mad I did. I purchased the plan when my dog was a puppy and over the last six years felt great about not thinking twice about treatments. I was fine with premiums increasing each year for peace of mind. They neglect to tell you if you use the plan they will stop covering you when you really need it as they age. 6 years later after a tumor removal surgery and knee surgery our max coverage has been limited, deductible raised, and coinsurance increased. I was told that I am only eligible for continued decreased coverage bc they have paid too much out. Isn’t that the point of an insurance plan.. for the unexpected without worrying about a cap on coverage. That’s why I started it so young. Not even halfway through his lifespan our coverage is reduced to then being dropped or greatly reduced each year and now we can’t switch to another company bc of pre-existing conditions. I was so happy I got it as a puppy before any conditions arose but they neglect to tell you they will screw you in a few years. I WILL NO LONGER RECOMMEND PLET PLAN TO ANYONE AND NOW WILL CONTINUE TO ADVISE AGAINST THIS COMPANY! They show off their coverage and what they pay in their magazine but neglect to tell you once they paid that they then drop the coverage.
Go Pet Plan - CAN'T CANCEL
I wasn't happy with the policy and have been trying FOR HOURS to cancel this. There are several listed phone numbers and none of them have led me to a real live person to cancel my policy. I have tried every number on the website to cancel, my inquiries have gone unanswered. This place is an absolute scam. I will be doing stop payment through my bank because I have no been able to reach anyone to cancel my policy.

This is the worst pet insurance provider i have ever worked with. I tried to cancel service for over a year and they kept billing my account and lying about my calls. I had talked with their department several times to cancel and they always said "ok you're plan is canceled now" and every month I still got charged for it. If you want a insurance plan that scams you sign up but if you want to have reliable customer service do not go with this company.

Go Pet Plan - Petplan is unscrupulous
Petplan is unscrupulous. We used them fir 13 years. Made no claims. They are doubling the premium this year as dog is now 15. Customer service is terrible. Obvious they just want us to leave as dog is old and may now make claims. They only want you when you won’t make a claim with them. I urge you NOT to use them.

Go Pet Plan - Horrible Company
This has become a horrible, untrustworthy, moneymaking scam of a company. I have had petplan for over 10 years. In the beginning they were great. This company is now finding loopholes to deny all claims or pay 10 percent on claims instead of the 80 percent. I will be switching immediately!! If I can file with the Bbb and attorney general to receive a refund of premiums that will be my next quest. Join another plan!!!
