ManyPets - I did not know we have a $500…
I did not know we have a $500 deductable. We have 2 policies with you and pay over $100 a month. We never turned in any claims for over the first year of coverage.
ManyPets - First clam submitted,,
First clam submitted,,, They refused to pay... My dog has CKD which no "routine" visit or dental care would have detected but was a sufficient loophole to disqualify payment.
ManyPets - Trash company
Trash company, had a policy for well over a year, they refused to cover an ear infection citing having record of it happening the year before during a time when I had coverage through their company. Claiming a routine minor illness is a “preexisting condition” canceled immediately. You should know before you sign up that if you do not maximize every dollar of a wellness plan as well it costs you more per year than they cover.
ManyPets - My premium went up 136% increase in one year
I strongly encourage pet owners to NOT go with ManyPets as they are gouging their customers pretty terribly. In their latest renewal notice, I was informed that the insurance for my 5-year-old-boxer is increasing 136% in one year. Going from about $70 per month to over $160.
ManyPets - Needs More Effective Customer Care Team
Getting your claims processed through the ManyPets team is like pulling teeth. From customer questions to cancelling plans, the customer care team leads you in circles via email. When a claim is accepted, it’s always nice, but working with this pet insurance has been an all around frustrating experience and not worthwhile. There are better pet insurance companies out there.
ManyPets - Negative surprise
I was surprised when I say that you require 18 months of health verification for the first claim. I have only had the dog for 6 months!!!!
ManyPets - Don't plan on keeping your pets insured with them
I purchased pet insurance for my 2 dogs. I was not told that the premium would increase and after 1 year both premiums went up. I asked why they were increasing so much and I was told it was because they were seniors now. I had to get rid of the wellness package but decided to keep the regular health insurance because the person I talked with told me it would not increase again. After paying the premiums for a year they doubled the premiums on one dog and increased it on the other. I never had a claim and because they lied to me I wasted my money. It's better to save your money and not give it to them. When your pets age they try to get rid of them.
ManyPets - Pet insurance premium increase
I was disappointed that the insurance premium increased over 25% for 2023 over 2022. I wasn't aware of an introductory premium. Now that 2023 is over and am reviewing my expenses, this insurance may not make the cut. It was one of the greatest increase areas I had for the year in a year of inflation. I am left with no other option but to search for an alternative plan.
ManyPets - They will gouge you after 1 year on policy price
Just after 1 year, they increased my policy by over 60% and claimed it was due to my aging dog.... She's 3 years old. I have no respect for this company, they're looking to gouge you. Anyone who wrote a 5 star review for ManyPets hasn't been with them over a year - or finances aren't an issue for them.
ManyPets - Extensive medical history requirement - beware
Disappointed with the extensive requests for medical history (18 months upon receipt of your first claim), and refusal of coverage. This was the most reasonably affordable plan I could find after much research, but it's basically useless since they don't seem to actually cover anything.
