Bought our townhome 3 years ago, had home inspection, etc. Home was built in 2011. Ryan Homes, should have known as they are known for being built terribly. Fast forward to now, looks like the corners of most window frames (wooden part) are rotting away. Again, this house was built in 2011! I now see when we bought it, the owners must have had the defects covered up with caulk and paint etc. Is this something home insurance would fix? I'm sure the building warranty is expired since it's been more than 10 years since it was built.
