Spot - Pet insurance
Horrible customer service after filed a claim for ear infection. They requested pets records from Vet. Sent them. Claim denied for pets vet records same as had been sent. This happened 3 more times with me going to vets office last time with claims dept. on speaker phone with vet office clerk. Denied again. This time because of said it was pre existing. Pet had a allergy rash on leg in the past! My recommendation with Spot is Stay Away! Swithed to them from insuror to add another pet. Big mistake! You get what you pay for. I would think they spend most of their internal money on researching how to connect any past illness to being pre-existing to save them money. Of course I have canceled. Never Spot again.

I bought the insurance online to cover my young dog specifically for his neutering. Purchased well in advance to find out it isn't covered. I was not able to submit the claim and discovered this after speaking with someone. They were not able to help. I paid for the insurance in full. It seems the company should have provided some solutions to help me resolve this. I will be moving to another insurance company for my five dogs. I have never had a problem with dog insurances in the past with previous pets.

I've been used this company for about 5 years and never submit any claim and now I sent a claim for $1300 they denied the claim they’re not going to pay.
First month of the plan was $125.
After two years, $185
And now, 5 years later.$412.79 a Month.
Please be aware OK!!

If I could give zero stars I would. They denied every claim stating they were pre existing conditions and I have proof from the vet that they are not and they still will not reimburse. Filed a complaint with the BBB. I wish I had never purchased this insurance. I had Nationwide previously with another dog and they were wonderful. I was really disappointed because I had heard such great things about this company on social media should have just stuck to what I knew.
