THEY KILLED MY Dog . AND I HEARD OF WAY MORE ANIMALS WHOS HEALTH ISSUES WERE NEGLECTED AND THE ANIMAL PAST AWAY... ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY AND THEY ARE NOT VERY EDUCATED ON THE MEDICATIONS THEY GIVE.... IF YOU WANT TO BURY YOUR PET GO HERE, IF YOU WANT IT TO LIVE GO ELSEWHERE I SUGGEST KAHU ANIMAL HOSPITAL WHERE THEY ACTUALLY CARE BUT THERE ARE WAY MORE BETTER ALTERNATIVES THEN THIS PLACE.. THIS PLACE THE STAFF IS RUDE AND THEY OVERCHARGE EVEN FOR VIST.. KAHU WORKS WITH YOU...SO DO MANY OTHERS... BE SMART , DONT GO TO THIS ONE !!! THEY SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED AND SHUT DOWN.... My favorite old mixed terrier with a lot of anxiety had a knee that was bleeding and he doesn’t like you to touch his feet couldn’t get a hold of his vet so I had to take him to an ER where they had to sedate him in order to examine him. Complete nail avulsion. Ughh submitted my claim to pets best insurance within less than two weeks I had my reimbursement..fast painless process, highly recommend for your Pet Insurance!

they have been great right up until they doubled my premium on my 9 year old domestic medium hair cat. They say it's based on actuarial statistics and promise it's not because of any claims, but it just so happened to take place immediately at renewal after a year of claims due to hypothyroidism. regardless, to DOUBLE the monthly premium is absolutely unacceptable.

My premium has more than doubled in just a few years, and despite having repeated claims for the same reason, Trupanion has found ways to categorize them differently so deductibles are not met. I have gotten very little paid out despite massive premiums, and will be changing providers shortly.

These people will find any excuse not to cover your claim.

I was satisfied with Trupanion until my last experience. I had tried to access my app to submit an invoice and it wouldn’t work so I called. Young lady said she would look into it and in the meantime sent me a link. Submitted the claim got email couldn’t read date sent another picture of receipt showing date. Got another email saying needed all pictures. Called again young man sent me his direct link and finally got through, in the meantime he told me the app is no longer works. NOT IMPRESSED , I use that app it is fast and easy. Considering what I pay for my dogs insurance I feel we should have been offered the courtesy of being informed that this was being done. Bring back the app. By the way Patrick Utter was very polite and helpful.

Fast repayment. Prices are outrageous. 30% increase this year. Simply preposterous. Every year it’s a giant increase. How can a dog’s insurance cost more than mine

I am very proactive with my canine kid’s healthcare and an advocate for preventative care. Dental cleaning and the recent removal of a lipoma tumor being removed at the same time, suggested by the veterinarian in case it increased in size where it was located could interfere with his mobility. Plus we avoided an additional surgery in the future. This company qualified both procedures as pre-existing even when I submitted cleaning receipt from a year ago! Tumor is pre-existing?? I was paying a little over $100 a month including a supplemental plan! Don’t waste your money with Embrace thinking you will receive coverage. Should never have left Fetch! I don’t recommend this company as their underwriters deny everything!!!

When my pup contracted a respiratory infection, Figo dragged their feet and told me conflicting information. I kept getting emails that I did not have the required documentation yet when I would chat online with a representative I was told I did. The amount of documentation required was insane as well. I uploaded approximately eight different medical documents just for one single visit. I had to keep calling my Vet and asking for more documentation. at this point, my claim has not even been processed, and Figo gives a 10 day window to provide supporting documentation before closing the claim. I have one day left. I think they are trying to stall me until the window closes. do not recommend the monthly price they offered was too good to be true.
