Have an issue with your insurance?
Let everyone know!
Insurance companies are constantly reviewing us. Are we too old? Do we live in the wrong place? Is our credit score high enough? Well, now it's time to turn the tables. Do you charge too much? Will you pay my claim quickly? Is your coverage worse than it seems? We can review you too.
Pets Plus Us - don't do it!
I paid into this service for 4 years and never once had a successful claim- even with all the required documentation. Save your money!
ASPCA - Useless customer service
Useless customer service. I pay for the preventative care on top of the accident
/illness. Had a claim processed just fine a couple months ago. Had to have dental for my pet due to some gum issues which should have counted. I should’ve at least gotten $100 toward a cleaning at the with the preventative coverage. Whole claim was denied outright because I couldn’t produce medical records from YEARS before I got my pet. Calling customer service just got me a headache of a man who couldn’t remember the species of my pet or my name AND kept repeating the same reasoning over and over again despite any answer I gave him. Save your time and money.

Take your money and run because that’s what this company will do to you.
Every emergency claim I put in is denied. They make up excuses saying my deductible ($150) is higher. The bill comes out to over $200 I think I’ve met the deductible and should be covered at this time…. NOPE! I’ve paid more money out of my pocket with this insurance than ever. They will never help your pets or your wallet. Typical insurance company.
ASPCA - Slow to process claims
Service is slow and getting slower. It used to be excellent but their people are incompetent and can’t understand or communicate.Dont go with them, find others that actually have American speaking representation. My schnauzer had bladder stones early on so I am trapped and can’t switch because that is now considered a preexisting condition.I could go somewhere else but she wouldn’t be covered with bladder stone issues.Sort of a catch 22 for us
Embrace - I sent documents regarding my pet’s…
I sent documents regarding my pet’s previous veterinary care and received a message stating that my claim could not be completed due to no documentation
Nationwide - Sick to my stomach
Thw rates were reasonable for 5 years with increases 10% as espected. The moment we used the plan it went from 100 to over 300. Been covered since 8 weeks old and this is the thanks. They know they have you bc now 5 years pre existing ear stuff and etc. If you leave to another company you loose coverage, essentially no options.
They claim bc new coverage is catagories but they decreased sick from 7500 to 5000.

It’s probably too soon for me to make a fair assessment. The staff are wonderful people to communicate with, but so far I have been very frustrated with the reimbursement process. Also, as helpful as the staff might be, there doesn’t seem to be much communication between departments, which causes me to have to resubmit information. I know that it is necessary that they receive details on the doctor visit to process claims, but I am still waiting to receive any reimbursement for care. I will look further into what I may be doing wrong, and give it some more time

I liked to get insurance for two puppies but after 8 days I got charged as a same price for one of my pets. I requested to cancel the order they said sure but they charged me.
Fetch - I had high hopes when I first signed up…
I had high hopes when I first signed up with Fetch because their customer service was helpful during the enrollment process. However, once it came time for actual claims and reimbursements, the experience took a turn for the worse. They consistently found ways to deny claims by citing pre-existing conditions where the coverage should have applied. It feels like they prioritize finding excuses over honoring their commitments. I would advise potential customers to be cautious and ensure they thoroughly understand the fine print before signing up.
MetLife - Expensive
The process is nice and seamless but started off paying less than $50 a month to now paying over $80 a month in just 3 years with my employer discount . The year to year increase is insane when I have a medium size pup, 4 yo with no health issues. I haven't had the time to research other insurance companies so I continue to pay unfortunately.
