Insurance companies are constantly reviewing us. Are we too old? Do we live in the wrong place? Is our credit score high enough? Well, now it's time to turn the tables. Do you charge too much? Will you pay my claim quickly? Is your coverage worse than it seems? We can review you too.

Nationwide - 14 Day Wait Period Never Explained
Former client of Nationwide until our dogs passed. Just signed up for our newest pup this AM after speaking with an agent a few weeks back and found out there is a 14 day wait period till the policy takes effect. Never was told that and couldn't get the policy till we picked up the dog. Thinking of cancelling. Not the best CS as I remember. NWPI is slipping and not happy.
MetLife - Reimbursement is taking way to long
Reimbursement is taking way to long to process over the last year. 5-7 business days has turned into a few weeks or like my last submission, a month. If I'm late with my payment, I would get cancelled. Why is it ok for my reimbursement to take so long
MetLife - Not the right person to ask
Honestly wasn't even aware that my pet insurance carrier was now met life, it's changing more than it's been used. I've never used the service under met life so I can't say you're good or bad
MetLife - This has gotten so insanely expensive…
This has gotten so insanely expensive for monthly premiums (3 dogs) that I am not so sure it is worth $400+ per month any longer. Just greed & ridiculous costs.
Trupanion - Raised my rates almost immediately
I would give a higher rating but it seemed like as soon as I had a couple of claims my rates were raised. Twice! They're almost double what they were to start and my dog is only 2 years old.
MetLife - Goes up every year
Goes up every year, have only used once in 10 years
MetLife - you cover very few procedures and…
you cover very few procedures and charge a ton of money each month. will likely consider canceling next year.
Pets Best - Sub par
A lot of the regular charges are not "applicable" to you all and thus dismissed. Also your reimbursement time frame is far from fast. My insurance for a relatively healthy dog keeps going up year over year with really no reasoning.
MetLife - Just about every time I send a claim
Just about every time I send a claim, Metlife responds by saying "not enough info, need dr's notes etc". I send them everything my nvet gives me... including the dr's notes and itemized invoices! I have my cat insured under another company and I never have these problems with them.
