Have an issue with your insurance?
Let everyone know!
Insurance companies are constantly reviewing us. Are we too old? Do we live in the wrong place? Is our credit score high enough? Well, now it's time to turn the tables. Do you charge too much? Will you pay my claim quickly? Is your coverage worse than it seems? We can review you too.
Fetch Pet - We purchased the best package we could
We purchased the best package we could. Costs us about $140 a month. Large dog, 5 years old, good health, UTD all shots and visits. Have the "wellness" pkg. Scripts, etc. My first claim Scripts was $242. Heartworm,
Pumpkin - I've had it awhile and never even used…
I've had it awhile and never even used it and my premium went up from $134 to over $160 a month!
Fetch Pet - Uncomfortable Cancelling Experience
Adopted a pet from the humane society and was signed up for this insurance. Called to cancel, and instead of processing my request the rep would just seemingly ignore me and respond with manipulative questions. It was weird, I had to get really firm and just repeat “please cancel my account”. I’ve actually never experienced anything like that. Went from a neutral opinion and just not a product I need at this time, to a very negative opinion and actively telling people to beware/avoid. Not a company I will use in the future. Ever.
Fetch Pet - Terrible customer service, run!
I've had insurance with Fetch for two pets for several years, luckily we never had to use it. I bought wellness insurance last year and have a terrible time with claims, valid claims get denied and you can't talk to anyone about it, I had to lie about the reason I was calling to talk to a live person. When they looked into it, they admitted they had screwed up. I'm still waiting for a reassessment though. I'm canceling and finding another company. Two stars because the claim was easy to file but that's the only positive I've had, people are nice but so what?
Fetch Pet - Scam insurance
Scam insurance. Fetch was originally Pet Plan Insurance which was great. I had a yearly $200 deductible. It magically changed to $200 per illness when Fetch took over. They try their best to deny claims and they are very slow to process claims. It's a battle to get reimbursed. Impossible to communicate with. They are more than doubling the renewal premium to $325/month for my 14 year old dog. I will find other insurance or self insure. Nightmare insurance.
Get Odie - They never pay, but take your money easily
They take money from you easily, but never pay you for your pet. None of my claims were approved, just bullshit like "your documents are insufficient or didn't meet our policy...". They never help when you need, don't waist your time on them.
Fetch Pet - Fetch is nothing but thieves
They canceled my policy and sent me an email stating this, yet they continue to steal money from my account for the last 3 months.
ASPCA Pet Insurance - Look elsewhere
We started our policy when we got a new puppy, who ran into a handful of medical issues. Our vets/pet hospitals insist they've provided all required medical records, and ASPCA insists they never received them. All claims denied.
ASPCA Pet Insurance - This is a terrible insurance company
This is a terrible insurance company. They claimed "pre-existing condition" for something that was never indicated on my rescued pet (balls never descended so when he was neutered it was an invasive surgery and expensive).
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance - Shameful practices
Healthy paws has just increased my monthly premium from $250 to over $600 per month. This is outrageous and they appear to be blaming it on our state (California, the usual whipping boy for everyone). I have been a customer for many years with barely any claims. One of my dogs is older now and for almost the first time, I have made sizable claims so I’m pretty sure this is the real reason. But…..this is precisely why you pay into insurance from when they were puppies(in our case 8 weeks old) ….. so that all the years you pay premiums and claim nothing are at least partially offset by the claims you have to make when they age. I don’t know why they couldn’t make up the shortfall (if this story about what our state requires is true) on the back of new customers instead of shafting existing customers. Now I have to look for a new insurer for a dog with preexisting conditions. Shameful!
