I asked why and was told it was due to my dogs age my dog has recently turned 3 years old and inflation was the reason.strange as the inflation rate is sitting at around 3%.

So I pay 40 extra dollars that day I signed up so it can be activated right now but in all reality my dog can't get sick for 30 days until he'll have coverage so I feel like in wasted my money so far and scam me out of some money. Will see what the future holds
Pets Best - small dog owners beware
I thought this insurance was great, a really good option for coverage for the price and deductible. That was until my dog was newly diagnosed with periodontal disease. My vet made the first recommendations to have a teeth cleaning at almost 4 years old because we were doing good oral care. At that time I found some loose teeth when we were brushing and her gums were bleeding one day. My dog needed teeth extracted during her cleaning and Pets Best denied our claim even though I am technically covered for periodontal disease per my policy. they have a loophole to deny if they have a cleaning and periodontal disease is found and treated within 13 months of diagnosis. I had to pay $1800 out of pocket due to this denial. So if you choose this insurance and have a small dog, get regular teeth cleanings at exactly at 3 years and hope they don't find any periodontal disease because that will classify you as pre-existing and all future dental needs will be denied.
Embrace - Everything went wrong
Everything went wrong, first of all you guys took out the money from my account for starting my plan, and then I was never notified about being reimbursed for things, instead of having the vet just bill you guys, so I decided to cancel my policy with you guys and I was told that I would get my money refunded back to me in full, and instead you guys tried to take out more money out of my account again!!!! That's not right of you guys to do that to people, what a bunch of scammers you are!!!!!! Better make it right with me....
Fetch - Terrible
The will deny claims that clearly meet the terms and conditions. They are the worst of what an insurance company can be, one that just seeks to take your money for profits but don’t think they need to follow their own terms. Customer service and claim reps are unhelpful. Terrible company.

Pet Insurance with Embrace is a complete waste of your money. They use the excuse of "preexisting conditions" to deny major claims. Embrace's Claims Dept used a 2022 trip to the Vet for muscle soreness after vigorous exercise to deny a torn ACL surgery claim in 2025 despite a statement from the 2025 Vet saying the two incidents were unrelated. Stay away
from Embrace.

I recently took my cat to vet and had an emergency dental procedure. I submitted the claims to Fetch and first they asked for more documentation and after two months they just denied it because they didn’t feel like it was urgent enough! that was my first ever claim with them! Scam insurance! Won’t be there when you need it most!!

Just like all other pet insurance policies, you pay them monthly, they increase your annual for no reason and find ways not to cover expenses. Not to mention, with high deductibles and low reimbursement rates, so even if you get it covered you are still out of pocket a majority of the expense. I would have saved $15K not having any pet insurance. This is a scam, they all are.

This place is a complete joke!!!! Called in for a claim I submitted told me it would 10-14 business days which is fine, but it's been 15 days now, so I called and asked what was going on and now they tell me 30 business days! But they sure in the hell want my payment when its DUE!!!!!!!!!
