Pets Best - Horrible service
Took 4 weeks to review a basic claim. I submitted all paperwork and records when I filed the claim. Definitely going to find a different company right away.
4 1/2 weeks and still haven't received my money from the claim.
Embrace - When I try to log in, I can't
When I try to log in, a notice says "Unavailable at this time. I called and the girl contacted a computer geek at you company to fix the problem, and she did but I just tried to log in this am and the problem is happening again. I cannot use your services if I can't even get into my own account. Please fix this and let me know when it's fixed. I will give you to the end of the month. If not fixed by then, I will be cancelling my policy. Thank you Dave Chabriel. Policy number is EP00904978
Fetch - We purchased the best package we could
We purchased the best package we could. Costs us about $140 a month. Large dog, 5 years old, good health, UTD all shots and visits. Have the "wellness" pkg. Scripts, etc. My first claim Scripts was $242. Heartworm,
flea and tic med for 6 months. (ONE Perscription) They paid $60. $60 is what they will pay for 1 year, max. I don't think the wellness part of the insurance is worth it. Deductible does not apply so not a reason.

Normally I was able to upload all the pictures but every time I chose the six pictures to upload, when I clicked “next” it would not add them and mentioned that I would need to email them to Claims at embracepetinsurance.com. Glad there was a workaround. I emailed and hopefully that will work.
Fetch - Uncomfortable Cancelling Experience
Adopted a pet from the humane society and was signed up for this insurance. Called to cancel, and instead of processing my request the rep would just seemingly ignore me and respond with manipulative questions. It was weird, I had to get really firm and just repeat “please cancel my account”. I’ve actually never experienced anything like that. Went from a neutral opinion and just not a product I need at this time, to a very negative opinion and actively telling people to beware/avoid. Not a company I will use in the future. Ever.
MetLife - I have pet insurance
I have pet insurance. They deduct $250 per year for maintenance. And they are supposed to return 80%. In the end, they only returned $500 out of $1,600. They don't answer in the chat, the phone number doesn't work. They took $250 twice. And the rest of the amount was calculated in an unclear way. Out of a claim of $450, they returned $7!
Pets Best - Buyer Beware - they will charge you coinsurance on meeting your deductible
Coinsurance is the claim amount an insured must pay after meeting deductibles. This company applies your coinsurance to meeting your deductible. Haven't provided me with any detail as to where this calculation is explained in my policy. Wouldn't recommend.
