I purchased pet insurance with Pumpkin on 2/16/2023. I had an issue where my dog would not eat on 3/2/2022 and took her to the ER. I filed a claim with pumpkin and they denied it. Their reason stated was for a pre-existing condition. How not eating is a pre-existing condition blew my mind. They also said they needed vaccination records for 12/2022 when she was vaccinated on 11/2022. All they did was try to find a reason to deny my claim. I wouldn’t recommend anyone purchase pet insurance at Pumpkin. Will they use this situation to call everything a pre-existing condition now.

I had several problems with auto ship of heart meds for my pet. The system does not adjust the auto ship according to the amount of meds prescribed. A prescription can be 50 pills for a 60 day period which results in a order being needed before the next autoship. Then another auto shipment will be sent within two weeks resulting in too much medication on hand over and over. There is no method to correct this on the website and they don't have a working customer service number. Chat doesn't seem able to correct theses issues either. My pet collapsed on a Sunday, I rushed him to an emergency vet and we chose to euthanize him. The next day I checked the emergency plan I had been paying a year for to find that because I didn't stop and call them so they could direct me to a vet of their choice I don't qualify for that reimbursement. Maybe I am overly sensitive at this moment but nothing about this company's policies or systems give any confidence that they care about your pet or you as a customer.

We can’t rate Many Pets on ease of servicing the policy because we hadn’t needed to yet. But the way we were treated when we moved to a different state made us see we needed to change insurance companies. We understand there are changes required by the state but to simply say we don’t accept your $250 deductible anymore was unacceptable to us and we found a better choice in the long run.

it was easy to sign up for and there were many ways to customize the coverage as well as the costs. I have not had a vet claim yet, so not sure how that will go.
Started off loving this company - had a great experience signing up with them and have had great customer service experiences. When we first got our dog last year, I loved that they offered wellness coverage as I couldn't find that in most places. I was consistently reassured when I signed up that I could always change/downgrade my plan when it came time for renewal, so I opted for a higher coverage plan since it was my first time with pet insurance and my first dog, just to err on the side of caution. With my renewal coming up I called to discuss changing my plan going forward (as I found I didn't need as full of coverage as I originally got), and am hitting financial strain in which I need to be more cost-conscious. Now I'm told they've changed their system, and the lower coverage options I had before (and was talked out of with the promise of being able to change them down the line) are not an option anymore. It's really disappointing to not give your customers a heads-up with changes like this, and at least give the existing customers the option of changing before you implement this change company-wide. I'm still deciding how I want to move forward and if I want to continue using them knowing that this is how they treat their customers.

I have registered plan for my new pet before 1 week.But it get cancelled.As usual the pet insurance is bought before the pet arrival.And no body no terms told me can not regist before the pet arrival when I registered manypet.And I don't know why when My pet is come,the deductible and reimbursement is no longer 90% and $250!

I can't find a way to contact anyone unless it's a claim. I can't find anywhere I can make a payment. The website tells you everything but doesn't make it easy to find out what you actually want.
