Lemonade - Lemonade recently raised my pet…
Lemonade recently raised my pet insurance premium by 36% for a completely healthy dog, with no claims last year. When I contacted them to ask why, they gave me vague, canned answers—something about “inflation” and “pricing in my area”—but refused to provide a detailed or individualized explanation.
Lemonade - Really bad experience👎🏻❌
Really bad experience with my cat's insurance, they're gonna manipulate the information you provide them in order for them to reject your claims, they're triumph card is their "preexisting conditions". My cat vomited a few times before having her insured with lemonade and months after, with the insurance, she started having an episode with vomiting and peeing everywhere and feeling really bad, it turned out to be spleen cancer, they should've paid for the ultrasound and the surgery, but they didn't because apparently for them that time my cat vomited a few times months before all this was a preexisting condition. Using their logic, if I vomited when I was kid and then again after a night of too many drinks, I have a preexisting condition. BTW, vomiting is totally normal in cats, when she vomited a few times and took her to the vet, they just changed her diet and she stopped completely. So no, it was not a preexisting condition. Of course they will never understand that because you know how it works; the less money they pay us, the more money they keep.
Lemonade - This is the WORST company
This is the WORST company. They take your monthly payments but won't pay for anything. They don't cover anything. It's a waste of money just pay for your pets medical expenses out of pocket.
Lemonade - Not transparent enough
No way to see trips/mileage details, how can I be sure of charges? Rates go up with little to no warning. No email notifying next autopay amount. All of these, I've complained to customer service voice line more than once, the result being I'm writing this review.
Lemonade - Do not use this company
I have had home insurance for nearly 40 years and never encountered such a poor company. I needed a replacement card and was asked to update the new card details which I did. They then sent emails telling me my card was invalid. I rang them and spoke to Nikki who promised it was an issue they had and she had put a note on system and my insurance would not be cancelled. I have had an email from John today to say they have cancelled my insurance! I have never had any issues with cards updating in the past just with lemonade!!
Lemonade - Not impressed - top coverage leaves a lot to be desired.
I was pleased with the quickness of claim payment however, extremely disappointed with how little I was reimbursed.
Lemonade - Terrible Company, will not pay your claims
This company does not know the true cost of anything they are supposedly insuring. For example, the $1,200 dental procedure . . . paid out $190. Or his $300 flea/tick/heartworm meds paid out $150. I should be grateful that they even paid anything, I suppose. They deny claims left and right based on facts that are not true; for example, my dog was never diagnosed officially with allergies, but because I asked my vet ONCE and TWO YEARS before a claim I filed for an ear infection, they denied the claim for the antibiotics to fix the infection on the grounds that allergies caused the infection and therefore it was a pre-existing condition.
Lemonade - I’ve been waiting three weeks and still…
I’ve been waiting three weeks and still no confirmation of my claim. Everything I submitted has been verified by the veterinarian, each item was individually listed with the cost, a copy of the itemized receipt was emailed and I swore it was true as they requested. And there’s no way to discuss this with a live person.
Lemonade - Customer of 3 years saying BYE!!!
I've had Lemonade Pet Insurance for 3 years. In that time I've never needed to file a claim (a good thing!) until now. When my policy is up, I'll be looking for pet insurance elsewhere.
Lemonade - Horrible Insurance for Pet Owners
They do not insure people who own German Shepards. There is not one bad thing about my dog and he is not even remotely aggressive but because of his breed they declined to insure me…..
