They're a joke! Denied me insurance just because I have two dogs-- breed that isn't even on the restricted list. Do you homework, idiots.

UNREAL. I put in a claim for my tv. They sent someone to do a diagnostic on the tv where he confirmed there was an issue with it. He also word of mouth said the tv was visibly in perfect condition. They called me just now to say the tv had visible signs of impact. The tv LOOOKS BRAND NEW WITH ZERO DAMAGE NOT EVEN A SCRATCH ON IT. They literally paid someone to come do a fraudulent survey on my tv so they wouldn’t pay me out for the claim. I have not put in a complaint in 6 years of having this company. This is unbelievable. They demanded a diagnostic as part of the claim and I thought it was strange since the contract said nowhere that was a requirement. DO NOT get a renters insurance policy with lemonade. I’m filing a formal complaint. Claudia was very nasty on the phone too.

If you’re looking for a pet insurance, my suggestion is to look elsewhere as my experience with lemonade has been nothing but disappointing and misleading

My renters insurance automatically renewed, which is fine, but they never sent an email reminder ahead of time, offered me a quote before renewal, and didn't send the new policy when it was issued. They just charged my account unexpectedly, which was startling to see that my balance randomly dropped without warning. I haven't had to file a claim with them yet, so I'm not sure how their customer service is, but an automated email seems like the least they could do.

Very poor customer support. Takes several days to get an answer and then in the middle of a conversation, they just don’t respond anymore.

My husband paid them for over two years and when he actually had an event they used every excuse not to pay him even though his event was covered. They are scammers! Even when we proved they were wrong, they would come up with another reason. Donot use this unaccredited company!

Used to LOVE Lemonade, sadly and unfortunately, I’ve experienced the worst customer service any member of the human species could possibly deliver to another member of the human species. I will neither recommend nor continue to bring my business to Lemonade.

Very poor customer service and deceptive cancellation process. They refused to provide a refund of my renewal even though I had canceled on their site a month prior and provided them with proof of lease end. The small refund I did receive was not initially issued and I needed to reach out 3 times in order to resolve.

They are not transparent in the status of the backend processing. I expect: 1) automated updates on processing 2) an option to choose how to be refunded 3) an proactive posture towards updates.

Lemonade Pet Insurance has been a major disappointment. I insured my 5 year old pup, Ollie, with Nationwide Pet Insurance for years and never had an issue, claims were processed within 2–3 business days. With Lemonade, my recent claim sat for over a month before being denied due to a so called “pre-existing condition”. Their reasoning? That my dog had diarrhea before. Honestly, what dog hasn’t had diarrhea at some point? The only reason I switched to Lemonade was to save some money, but in the long run, it’s cost me more in time, stress, and uncovered expenses. I will gladly pay more and switch back to Nationwide.
