My home was insured by Lemonade. I am very thankful I never had to make a claim because it is very hard to get in touch with them.

I have a renters insurance fire claim with them and I have only ever been able to reach someone on the phone twice. The event happened over a month ago at this point and I still have no real information regarding the liability and personal property loss portion. Would not recommend their insurance. It seems good on paper but if you actually need to use it, good luck getting any sort of resoultion.

Stay away from this company, you might get good deal but never payback (claim paid based on the assessment on very cheap place in Texas company for New York) for the right amount, second, if you claim one or twice, they will try to kick you out, the third, next year they will increase crazy. This company sucks. They have the highest NAIC complain about this company.

I got pet insurance for my dog back in January, Lemondae was requesting records of my pet, as they kindly reach out to my Vet to get the records they were needing, My dog went to Vet on 5.1.25, i submitted for my reimbursement, this was such a nightmare!! I have not heard from them at all. They are quick to take out my payment each month of 70.00. Now that i am trying to utilize the benefit. I am getting a hard time to get my money. I STRONGYLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AT ALL! BIGGEST RIP OFF. Get care credit. That is the best thing to do. Save you headaches that is for sure and it gives you a peace of mind. DON'T use LEMONAADE for ANYTHING!! STAY AWAY!! You never get to speak to anyone on the phone. They don't accept faxes for your claims and can not use your computer. they request to download appt on your phone. AGAIN KEEP YOUR MONEY. GET CARE CREDIT!!!

I filed a claim for my pet Kylie and got the complete run-around. She was diagnosed with hookworm and they tried to play it as a pre-existing condition and denied the claim. This was after numerous calls and e-mails... Awful experience. Avoid Lemonade Insurance!!

My family was poisoned by a gas leak and has been out of our home since March 31. Lemonade has done nothing. Gabe H., our SECOND adjuster, Chdel's, lead, knew we were out of money, food, and shelter last week and left us in our car, (the extended stay we were at kicked us out because our card would no longer run anymore charges, as Lemonade has STILL not helped out at all). He delayed $709 (with deductions, of course!) and called it a favor. No adjuster. No inspection. Furnace still unsafe per SDG&E. This is a covered emergency and we’ve been abandoned. We need immediate help. We have tried the CEO, Daniel Schreiber, CEO Shai Winninger, and the whole executive team, but to no avail. And now, NOW, the claims lead adjuster, Gabe H., thinks he's doing us A FAVOR by sending a minute FRACTION of what our coverage is for something like this, and knowing that we are going into ANOTHER WEEKEND, has it sent via Venmo, NOT instantly but, to be transferred by MONDAY. DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE! IT MAY BE CHEAP, BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR: THE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, THEY DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT WHAT COULD BE GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE OR HOW THINGS YOU BUY INSURANCE TO PROTECT AGAINST AFFECTS YOU. THEY DO NOT CARE ONE BIT.

They will deny 90% of your pet claims and make up any “pre-existing conditions”. this company tends to rely on fake trustpilot reviews. please look up other forums and reviews on BBB. They will take out monthly payments and deductible no questions asked. they are known for this exact issues. for Pet insurance purposes RUN AWAY from lemonade. Claims generally take 4-6weeks to be resolved. My dog admitted to be checked for tumors and potential spleen rupture as my german shepherd is 9 and becoming old. he’s been having vomiting issues and they denied it claimed it was “pre-existing condition” due to food allergy. its laughable.

I noticed last month that I had been charged on my credit card for a Lemonade Insurance, I looked back further and had been charged the month before too. I filed a dispute with my credit card company because I have no clue who these people are and never heard of them before. They attempted to charge again this month which was declined because I reported it the month before. I’ve been waiting on someone from their company over the payments to find out who they are. I’ve tried to call the company twice but you can’t talk to an agent unless you select the right division option, since I don’t know what division these charges are coming from I just select a random option and the agents can’t find any policy in my name. The whole thing looks fraudulent to me. It’s a strange name for an insurance company anyway.

Their bots tell you it's possible to cancel via the app but those dots don't exist. I'm trying to cancel via the website but it won't allow me to login.

This company cancelled my policy for bogus reasons after one year, proceeded to bill my mortgage company anyway, causing my mortgage to increase substantially and now will not refund the money.
