The worst possible car insurance is Metromile-Lemonade, not only they are charging you ten times the price , but you'll never get your refund for their mistakes, as well they lie in the official papers ( if you are NOt at fault in an accident, they put you at fault) and if you leave them they make sure you will hardly find another insurance.

I used this for my renters insurance and even after I attempted to cancel multiple times they continues to charge me and I ultimately had to go to my bank to dispute the charges and block their payments.

Horrific worst fraudulent insurance company in the United States. Our rental home had a leak which turned into a flood. The process took 5 weeks. Conor had made this women carly interview me, the attacked me and wouldn’t come see the damage. Hail/wind storm came through had minor damage to shingles and wind blew a section off 4x8ft shingles gone. This was three months ago still waiting because initial claim was denied?! What my shingles are gone?! Worst part the wind knocked one of the flutes out of line so water came down the pipe damaging our tankless hot water heater that’s in the attic so now it has and error code and you have to go to the attic multiple times a day to reset it to have hot water! For THREE MONTHS. Lemonade is a joke. You expect use to climb a latter to the attic 3-6 times a day to reset the hot water heater. Instead of approving the claim and fixing our problem?! What’s the point of the home insurance?!

Horrific company. If you get in an accident with someone covered my Lemonade good luck. I’m well past a month dealing with a rear end collision because Lemonade takes days a time to answer any emails about updates. They also haven’t updated my rental car coverage in over a week. Terrible company.

I've been a Lemonade home insurance customer for several years, but I was appalled when my recent renewal quote showed a massive 70% increase in my annual premium. While I understand modest yearly adjustments, a jump this steep feels completely unreasonable.

Laura Cheiffo, Underwriting Team Lead, does not reply to emails after requesting information for insurance renewal. Lemonade requires you to use their app in order to take pictures for policy renewals except that their app does not work. You are then asked to submit a request to their application support email which is unmonitored. They also require you to either put yourself in harms way to take photos of your roof or pay a 3rd party inspector.

This company is a scam. I’ve had insurance with them for two years and I had a lightning strike power surge that fried my laptop and they refused any coverage. Don’t get lured in by the inexpensive premiums, the coverage is a joke.

Rude, totally unsupportive, and impossible to contact. We have been with them 4 months, and first time we have had to make a Claim, it has been refused. I took advice over the phone, cancelled the policy, being promised a refund, and then take out a new one. In that time, the advice changed, and the claim refused. My partner and I both doctors, with one minor error on the policy holder details, and now refusing to support a simple administrational error. Do not use them, as they have no customer support, lie in the advice they give you over the phone, then refuse to act on their own advice and support, and now will not send a transcipt of the call confirming the advice that was given.
