I accidentally damaged my monitor, and unfortunately, my claim was denied by the Lemonade agent, who said it wasn’t covered under my policy. While I’ve accepted that and will buy a new monitor myself, it does raise concerns. If something more serious were to happen, would they truly have my back—or would they point to more fine print? This experience has made me question the level of real protection the policy offers

Lemonade Pet Insurance completely failed me. I submitted a claim for my dog Max (Claim #LPC180-754-290) with all the required documents and waited patiently for over 4 weeks. After the long wait, they denied the claim without a clear explanation.

Lemonade - Don’t get pet insurance through them.
Tried to edit my pet insurance coverage because I was told that I could, my Cat was just at the vet and I noticed a certain coverage wasn’t applied. when the app wouldn’t let me I just to reach out to have them edit it themselves. Got told we can’t do that until next year when you renew the policy….I then asked if I could cancel then renew it with the edit and apply it to his visit that day they said yes. Woke up today found out the claim was denied because his treatment was before his policy started. I went to the help desk for this online and they said “sorry can’t help you” unprofessional company that can’t honor nothing.

Lemonade - Terrible processes/customer service
Terrible processes in-place at lemonade. Customer service is unable to resolve a policy cancellation/refund issue for 3 months (and counting) and are essentially withholding $1500 while I wade through repetitive and unhelpful calls (no one follows up with me so I have had to initiate with inconsistent responses throughout). Avoid this company if you want to maintain your sanity!!!
