Never had pet insurance before. My friends encouraged me to get it, I chose ManyPets.

I started out looking for insurance only but was impressed with the wellness plan. The messaging prior to signing says vaccines and heart worm prevention is covered. What you don’t know until AFTER you sign is that the limit is split between prevention and other categories that I would not have chosen if I knew. It barely covers necessary vaccine and heart worm prevention. Then I found out you can cancel the insurance plan, but not the wellness plan once a payout has been made. So now I’m stuck paying $34 a month for services that I don’t even need. And all their friendly customer service goes out the window once you let them know you want to cancel. This is a bait and switch. Stay away. I regret signing up with this company.

I've received a PDF of my pet's health insurance policy, but I don't like that I have yet to receive a premium payment confirmation or an acknowledgement of how future premium payments will be handled (do they send a bill via email or postal mail?).

Y'all cancelled my membership for no reason and it cost me big. this is the last chance I'm giving you and if you do it again I'm done, and I'll be sure to share my experience with the rest of the world

Many pets is not an open and honest insurance company because they offer plans at one price and then they change prices on you after a year for vet prices. Be careful! I had three dogs insured for both wellness and accident insurance policies and the increase this year was more than 60 dollars. I used the insurance only for 1 visit because my dog got stung by a bee! Last year I paid a little more 1500 dollars!!! They increase the price and do not reimburse if you cancel, you have to keep the coverage for another month even if you decide leave them!!! It is a dishonest company and I would not recommend it to anyone!

The company will do everything to avoid payment and block future payments

Got an email after sending the invoice from my dog's check-up that my dog has Cryptorchidism.

I have been trying to get my dog's 14 day insurance wait waived. I sent a notice of cancellation like they asked for. Now they want notice of when insurance started. He has had insurance since he was 7 weeks old and he is now 6 years old. I dont have this declaration of insurance they are wanting. This is ridiculous. I guess we will wait for the 14 days to pass. But had I known they wanted more than just the cancellation of insurance, I wouldn't have gotten your insurance.

The main problem I had with this company is how they apply the deductible. They did try to deny coverage for part of the procedure, but relented on that. And the way they present the math in the "Your claim has been approved" emails is convoluted and confusing. That's because they don't want you to realize what they are actually doing.

So far it’s been excellent A few minor hiccups but were corrected quickly and they are what you would expect for an insurance company. So far so good. Hope it continues. Update despite them covering the costs as an insurance should. They lied to me from the beginning. After my second year with them my insurance increased almost $60 per month. They said it would increase around $8. Their response was they had to catch up with the other insurance companies….thanks for lying to current clients. I was paying $80……now, I’m stuck with this price or have no coverage. They obviously don’t care about much but money. I also see other price gauging reviews as well….
