Pawp - If you're the kind of person that needs…
If you're the kind of person that needs constant feedback and needs one-on-one coaching when it comes to your animal this app will be for you. However one of the most important parts of pet care is being able to see event for shots and upkeep and such and this app does not help with any of those the $3,000 emergency fund is only for a life threatening emergency that they decide so personally I'd have to say this app's not for me I don't need constant coaching or constant questions about how to take care of my pet but for those of you do this apps for you
Pawp - Suffering fur baby denied funds
Our baby started having pain and didn’t want to get up or move. He would just lie and yelp. He didn’t have an injury or any illness that we knew of. I called/chatted with PawP and they advised me to let him rest and give joint supplements since he was an older dog.
Pawp - Sarah is an AWFUL manager
Sarah is an AWFUL manager. She hung up on me 3 different times AFTER THEIR VET activated the emergency fund she DENIED my claim. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR
Pawp - Absolutely awful experience
Absolutely awful experience. Approved for Emergency Funds, have to goto ER within 4 hours, found one available over an hour away. but made it on time. After admitting our cat, they gave an estimate of between $2000-2500. They wanted a deposit of $2000. According to Pawp, we have to pay deposit, but it will be refunded when Pawp pays final bill. Final bill comes after 3 nights in ER. Pawp denies to pay. Said they needed medical records. Even though it states on their website they just need invoice and will pay in 30 minutes. Anyway after going back and forth for a couple days, They come up with some BS about not following their rules and regulations. The reason they chose, was completely untrue. STAY AWAY, you will regret it if you don't.
Pawp - Look Out For These Crooks
This is supposed to be a great pet insurance company - until you are told that after you rush a dying pet to an emergency hospital, you should have had a "Video Chat" with them before you went there.......Like who is going to take time to have a video chat while you think your pet is dying. So, they refuse to even entertain a huge bill. Thanks for nothing.
Pawp - Received literally nothing for my money
I was really hopeful with this company as they offered a $3,000 emergency fund for $24/month along with "24/7 online vet access". Both times I contacted the online service they told me to see a regular vet and had no other medical advice. The second time, my 18 year old cat presented a new skin wound not from an injury which to me raises alarm bells because she is so old and it could be anything, like cancer. I was told this did not qualify for the emergency fund as it was not viewed as life threatening by the "professional" assigned to the chat because it wasn't something that would kill her "within 4 hours". Are you serious? My cat has to be within 4 hours of death before I can access the fund im paying $24/month for? Im sure I will take her in and find it IS life threatening and end up with a huge bill. Complete scam.
Pawp - If you love crippling debt laced with insults and guilt trips, pawp is the company for you!
Terrible experience. I took my cat to a vet because he looked like he had an eye infection and didn't seem himself. I didn't do a video chat because I didn't think it was an emergency. When I got to the vet I was told it was. At that point I contacted pawp who reminded me about the video chat requirement and that I should fill out a form to try to get reimbursed anyway. I asked if I should do the video chat right then and take him to a different vet if that's how they need it done but they said no no, you pay it and fill out that form. So I did. Big surprise they didn't pay. Not only that they insulted me in their reasons as to why. So thanks for kicking me when I'm down, pawp. Real nice.
Pawp - HORRIBLE
So apparently, a dog that is actively choking on a bone does not qualify as an emergency vet visit? Not only did PAWP refuse my coverage of an emergency that my dog was actively having, I also had to jump through hoops to submit the information. I WILL SCREAM FRAUDULENT BUISNESS ALL THE WAY TO BBB.
Pawp - LIARS, INSURANCE FRAUD
IF I COULD GIVE YOU A ZERO I WOULD! MY PUP SUFFERED AN INJURY TO HIS PAW, CALLED YOUR VET, TOLD ME TO TAKE HIM TO MY VET, BUT PAWP'S NOT PAYING. THE VET WAS SMIRK LAUGHING WHEN I SAID THAT'S NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD WHEN I SIGNED UP BY MATT! I TOLD HER RIGHT OUT TO GET HER LAUGHING SMIRK OFF HER FACE, MY PUPS ISSUES ARE JUST AS SERIOUS. I WAS CLEARLY TOLD AND STATES ON YOUR WEBSITE "EXTREME EMERGENCIES "AND" "AND" " UNEXPECTED EMERGENCIES"! YOU FRAUDULENTLY ADVERTISE YOUR INSURANCE, A HURT PAW IS AN UNEXPECTED EMERGENCY! THIS INSURANCE IS CLEARLY A RIP OFF!
Pawp - If only zero starts is available. Don't cover much. Read fine print carefully.
If only zero star is available. They don't cover as much as you think when it's time to requesting for reimbursement. So you'd be wasting your time, energy, and money paying for something that does not cover much. They cover up to 6 pets? But you can only file a claim once?
