Hey guys , so this happends to me , My son was involve in an car accident last year (few months ago). He was driving his scooter to school on a traffic light he make an line change and got hit by a car(He is a Minor).After few days we got the police report saying that was my sons fault. Nearly January I receive an letter from NCS saying that I need to pay them 14k！The insurance of the other guy was nationwide. It was just a small accident so this looks not normal to me. Being an minor and on an scooter on his way to school hitting by a car was very stressful and know we need to pay over 14k out of my pocket. Just want to ask if NCS a scam? Should I pay the balance?

I have an interest-free card that I used for some remodeling on a property. It is interest-free for 18 months, so I charged all materials and labor to it. The first payment was due yesterday, and I set up autopay from the property's bank account. The autopay only had one option: "amount due." I naively thought that meant the minimum amount due, not the entire credit card bill. Well, yesterday, the creditor withdrew the entire amount from the bank account. The funds were there, so it was not returned. I called Chase (the card issuer) last night when I saw the transaction pending, and they said they couldn't help me since it was on autopay. I called my bank this morning, and they said they can't help me either since it is an ACH. They mentioned that I could possibly dispute it, but that process would take almost two months. Is there really no way to reverse that charge and pay them the minimum amount due instead? I got the card specifically to avoid impacting the cash flow and had a plan to pay it off while it was still interest-free. I genuinely did not know the amount Chase was going to deduct, it did not tell me when I set up Auto-Pay or anything. Am I just not talking to the right people, or is there really no way to assist me? ********* Update: Called Chase again and a manager helped me. She said since I didn’t have a minimum payment due, the option wasn’t there to pay minimum and that’s why I only had the “pay amount due” option. They are refunding me! And I don’t owe anything till August.

Hey everyone! Fetch just sent us our plan renewal and it's quite a bit higher this year. I'm looking to switch while my dog still is quite healthy. She's a 9 year old scrappy terrier mix, and has one pre-existing condition of a femoral head removal before I got her (which was pre-existing for her current policy as well). She's also broken several teeth over the course of several years, which was covered with Fetch, but I'm worried it might not be with other companies (even though those were accidents and not conditions). Is it worth it to switch at this point? I'm seeing some decent slightly lower quotes at Lemonade, Pets Best, and Embrace. But basically every company out there has a post on here bemoaning said company as a "scam." I'm looking for accident and injury coverage with a high max payout of $15,000 or more, deductible of $250-500, and no add ons.

The claims are processed quickly. When I call the people I speak to are always pleasant and helpful

My furbaby has been insured with Trupanion since she was 8 weeks and came to her forever home. Our experience has been excellent. Very good and fast response from Trupanion. My only complaint is that the monthly payment has increased very much every year.

I expected this to just be direction on how to help my elderly dog. I was wrong. It was way more than that. It is exactly like telehealth for us. The cost was no where near what taking my 16 year old dog to the vet and putting her through the travel and trauma for the same kind of care for what her issues were. Dr Voorhees was amazing. She checked her over to confirm her diagnosis. Prescriptions were called in the same day. They do need to be shipped directly from their pharmacy so still use your veterinarian for emergency issues. They also have an after care plan and a test coming after her antibiotics are finished to make sure the UTI is gone. They’re very thorough. Will be using this company for as long as I own pets

Everything was handled by the veterinarian’s front desk and the claims were something we didn’t have to worry about. This allowed us to focus on our sick boy.
