Let everyone know!
Insurance companies are constantly reviewing us. Are we too old? Do we live in the wrong place? Is our credit score high enough? Well, now it's time to turn the tables. Do you charge too much? Will you pay my claim quickly? Is your coverage worse than it seems? We can review you too.
Kanguro - I don't really recommend anyone to use…
I don't really recommend anyone to use a kangaroo. At first they make everything look pretty, but in reality it's not like that. They sent me to the hospital to take my pet and then when I filed a claim they never wanted to pay me.I just tell you to be very careful.
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance - They are a scam
Started at a reasonable price per month for my 2 cats. Every year the monthly cost went up $5-10.I have never made a claim. After around 9 years, just got a notice they are raising my premium around 300%! For no reason, when they advertised to enroll your pet at early age so you would not have these type of premium increases. Putting the money in a savings account rather than paying them any more, crazy scam.

Figo Pet Insurance - Do NOT choose FIGO pet insurance
I am not a fan. I had Lemonade insurance before moving to a state that didn’t accept Lemonade and had to switch to FIGO. I never had any issues with Lemonade and only encountered issues with FIGO. They will not reimburse you for ANYTHING! They will find any small detail to make sure they don’t have to pay you anything or contribute to your deductible. My cat was diagnosed with asthma after already having insurance and since they was 1 exam note from two years ago that he had a cough it was considered a pre-existing condition. I even paid extra for the vet fees wellness package and they didn’t cover my vet exam fee. FIGO sucks, don’t pick them.
Pet Insurance - Charged after being told transaction couldn’t be completed
When checking out with the insurance policy an error appeared saying it could not be completed and to call customer service. I didn’t want to bother with that so I chose another insurance provider. Nationwide still charged me
Fetch Pet - A different definition for deductible with Fetch Pet Insurance?
I just received an explanation of benefits for a claim I submitted to Fetch Pet Insurance. My policy has a 70% reimbursement rate and $500 deductible. Rather than counting the entire amount I spent for a recent veterinary visit toward my deductible (which is how my own health insurance works), Fetch decided to only apply 70% of the visit cost toward the deductible. So--now rather than having a $500 deductible, it seems I have a deductible of $500 x 0.7 = $714. I've had my Fetch policy for several years and do not recall the company applying this approach to calculating a deductible. Something is not right here. I've also experienced astronomical increases in my monthly premium (now $325, or about $4000 per year) for a limited amount of coverage (capped at $15,000).
Fetch Pet - TERRIBLE
TERRIBLE! I'm so endlessly disappointed.
Lemonade - Very poor customer support
Very poor customer support. Takes several days to get an answer and then in the middle of a conversation, they just don’t respond anymore.
Lemonade - Insurance company unreachable
Insurance company unreachable. The only way to contact them is by message, and the response time is very long, if not nonexistent. I have a leak at home and I haven't heard from them for 3 days despite my reminders. Run away from this insurance company that leaves you alone to face your problem.
