Let everyone know!
Insurance companies are constantly reviewing us. Are we too old? Do we live in the wrong place? Is our credit score high enough? Well, now it's time to turn the tables. Do you charge too much? Will you pay my claim quickly? Is your coverage worse than it seems? We can review you too.

Pets Best - Really good first 4 years and then --
I've recommended PetsBest to many people. The claims process is easy, and I've always been paid. My little dog has conditions which require medications for life. The premiums had modest increases over the first four years. But I've just been hit with an increase of the current monthly premium by $30! More than a 50% increase. I haven't moved, my payments are automatic, etc. No explanation offered. I'm a senior on a fixed, modest income and this hike is very hard to absorb. I feel like I've been mugged. Now they're just like every other insurance company. Perhaps they're aiming to get rid of me and my dog.
MetLife - You people continually screw up the…
You people continually screw up the claims I submit. I have yet to submit a claim that doesn’t require me contacting you to get the claim properly processed. I’m still waiting on a claim from January where you have yet to pay for the valley fever test for my dog Charlie. In my most recent claim you only processed part of the claim. I submitted 5 allergy prescriptions and you only processed 3. What is wrong with you people.
MetLife - I have muumuu every single claim is…
I have muumuu every single claim is deny for the only reason it has preconditions also you take too long to reimburse for my other to dogs
MetLife - Waste of money you do not get very much omoney back your paying for something that isn’t paying out out of a 9,600 dollar surgery I got 500 dollars an
Pay out if I pay for 2000 of coverage I want that much coverage I’m paying out but not getting what I’m paying for I’m better off not having insurance I’m paying out more than I’m getting back
MetLife - I like that MetLife has a Wellness…
I like that MetLife has a Wellness benefit and shared deductible. I don't like that claims are processed too slowly in the pipeline often with me having to call or email to check the status.
Embrace - It has been extremely difficult to get…
It has been extremely difficult to get my claims approved. I have been going back and forth, submitted all the required documents (including previous vet S.O.A.P notes) and still no response. It's a bit frustrating because not only are we paying for the insurance policies, we're paying vet bills as well.
Healthy Paws - Heathy Paws is Horrible Joke
Heathy Paws is horrible. Bottom line.
Anytime you have to file a claim the look for a loophole to deny it.
Additionally they purposefully raised my rates 157% with no notification at alll because my animals are older.
Horrible company.
Editing this to say they never sent a email and are litterally lying.
This company discriminates pet owners with older dogs.
Trupanion - Trupanion is associating a preexisting…
Trupanion is associating a preexisting right leg issue with the left leg which was never an issue with my cat.
A vet misdiagnosed my cats right leg. Three other vets had a different diagnosis. Trupanion will not go off most recent diagnosis. The manager that reached out to me was rude and not helpful. I have been told to report to my States Department of Insurance and contact an attorney. If their "customer service management" wants to reach out to you, it may be more stress as the one I had was awful.
MetLife - Nasty automated emails and unable to actually talk to a claims person for specific info
Every time I put in a claim and send invoices, I get an email weeks later that they need more information. I have given you EVERYTHING that was asked for. I called and talked to someone after I resubmitted everything for the second time, and days later I get another email that I need to send in more information. Your company acts like your clients are trying to rob you. It was a wellness visit with immunizations- standard stuff and I sent everything, and they are still saying they need more. It seems that this is standard policy to hold off on paying people.
MetLife - Even for very easy claims like…
Even for very easy claims like prescription food reimbursement that I submit very often, can sometimes take multiple weeks to get processed and reimbersed which is very stressful.
