I've had Lemonade Pet Insurance for 3 years. In that time I've never needed to file a claim (a good thing!) until now. When my policy is up, I'll be looking for pet insurance elsewhere.

When things go right, it's very easy, quick and simple.

I'm a disabled veteran that only used Embrace because USAA endorses it. These people refused to process the claim to put my service dog to rest. It was her 3rd claim ever. This company gladly took tens of thousands of dollars from me over years with no claims then refused to acknowledge or even process the 3rd and final claim that would have resulted in a few hundred bucks of reimbursement. I would never in a million years send another dime to this company or refer them business.

They increased my dogs insurance by $75 per month. Nothing happened to my dog to justify the increase They refused to pay for a routine vaccine/wellness check. I feel they haven't been fair, my dog is older but very healthy.

Company denies hip chew claim that recommend and that is covered. Don't use met life they deny everything.

I was transferred over from ManyPets, and assured that my dog's preexisting conditions (allergies) would be covered- both from ManyPets AND Odie, before I agreed to be transferred over. Guess what - my dog's allergy treatments are NOT covered as promised. Also - horrific customer service. Nobody answers chat, nobody answers the phone. Emails take a week or more. I had claims for 6 weeks - still unresolved after weeks of followup. I filed a Wellness claim (for flea treatment). Outstanding as of weeks. I was also told that the minute you file a Wellness claim, you are on the hook for the remainder of the year's premium - even if you try to cancel. They will take your money regardless. Stay away. What a scam.

They do not insure people who own German Shepards. There is not one bad thing about my dog and he is not even remotely aggressive but because of his breed they declined to insure me…..

It was EXTREMELY difficult to understand your representative on the phone. She was VERY nice but she had to repeat things MANY times. She spoke too loud and too fast! As a result, I'm sure I missed some important information.

The app is easy to use and easy to submit claims, especially after a recent updates in the past year. Most of my experiences with customer service have been positive. The turnaround time is sometimes slow on claims , I have had issues with a few claims that should’ve been covered, and the price going up significantly in the past year- these are the reasons I am not giving a higher rating

This company can improve by covering services for our pets that we are paying for. I submitted an appeal for a denied claim for my cat who had a enucleation surgery *before* he came to me. He developed cysts only *after* the enucleation surgery, but y’all have denied paying that claim saying it was pre-existing. It was not pre-existing and my vet made it clear that it was not pre-existing yet y’all still will not pay. At this time, I am considering canceling coverage for all six of my cats because y’all are simply not paying.
