After reading the unhappy reviews I decided to cancel the policy I applied for 18 days ago. Even though they claim to return your money 100% if you cancel within 30 days they did not. Now I will keep shopping for another company.

My home was insured by Lemonade. I am very thankful I never had to make a claim because it is very hard to get in touch with them.

Very expensive monthly fee; and Trupanion would not honor one of my former claims even though it was appealed by my vet. My vet said my dog had an ear infection with no sign of allergies at the time of the exam. She said Trupanion only assumed it was.

It’s easy to submit claims but sometimes I have to submit the same claims multiple times. The claims I submitted don’t show in the app or sometimes they seem to disappear.

After 7 days I'm still waiting for approval (or not). Not a lot to review right now. I thought you guys would be quicker.

They raise their prices all the time. If you have a French Bulldog, good luck. I now pay $250 a month for his insurance. Increased it $50 dollars a month and they say it’s not because of claims which is BS.

They will find any reason to deny your claim. I got my dog from the pound and all of his old medical history we could not get ahold of because it was not given to the pound we got it from. We only had the medical records from whenever he was in the pound to whenever we started taking him to the vet. They were trying to deny the claim because they didn’t have any of his records to see if they could prove that it was a “pre-existing condition”. They will try to say that everything your dog has is a pre existing condition. Do not recommend and this is a SCAM. If you do try and call about it, they’ll tell you that they’ll have someone reach out to you but within 3 weeks I never got a single call and any time I would call to get an update they would act like they didn’t know what I was talking about. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

The worst experience. Rollover from ManyPets. Premium doubled and my claim was denied of course as a preexisting condition. I have wellness insurance as well and all the shots and Drs visit were also denied. I brought my dog in for limping but also had the yearly things done, shots, fecal etc to actually save a few bucks since we were there. X rays showed arthritis as well as issues that were from a previous surgery that I know they would not cover, but I do not think arthritis is preexisting! It is a new development. Also the time frames for a response is way too long. Yet the premium of $106 is grabbed very quickly when due. What a bunch of dishonest people. I had referred at least 5 people to ManyPets and now they all are stuck with Odie and all will cancel.

I had previously been insured with Metromile who was unfortunately bought out by Lemonade. I had such a positive experience with Metromile. I live in the city and mostly bus around. My insurance has increased by 75%. And while they say they take into account your driving record, they do NOT. When I last questioned the huge increase they sent me a message saying that rate increases were due to many factors including driving record. When I responded that my driving record was exemplary they responded with oh, this was an across the board increase. When I saw an ad on television touting their taking driving record into account I had to write this review. Don't be duped. This company is predatory like so many other insurers.
