Let everyone know!
Insurance companies are constantly reviewing us. Are we too old? Do we live in the wrong place? Is our credit score high enough? Well, now it's time to turn the tables. Do you charge too much? Will you pay my claim quickly? Is your coverage worse than it seems? We can review you too.

Embrace - Wellness coverage
I asked why Embrace cannot provide wellness coverage in Rhode Island and was told that R.I. law prevents such coverage.
I plan on contacting my state legislator, but wonder why Embrace isn't doing anything to address the problem.
Trupanion Canada - We have a French bulldog named Hugo and…
We have a French bulldog named Hugo and we scheduled him for surgery for his brachycephalic syndrome and we got a reply from Trupanion that they will not cover his surgery
We've been paying a monthly premium of $250 / month for over 2 years now. And to find out that they won't cover for his surgery is preposterous, I could've put that money aside for his surgery. I wouldn't recommend
Trupanion for anyone with a frenchie
Embrace - Increased our premium 46%
After one year they increased our premium 46% on our 3 year old healthy dog. We did not use our insurance at all that whole year.
When I called to ask them to justify this ridiculous increase they cited inflation and rising vet fees…I’m sorry, I know for a fact neither of those things have risen that high.
Stay away from Embrace, they’re just out to rob you.
Trupanion - Expensive but good in a jam
Expensive but good in a jam. Please send me my bandana.
ASPCA - They denied coverage of my pet's ACL…
They denied coverage of my pet's ACL surgery and treatment claiming it was an illness not an injury. I contacted my veterinarian about this and they claim they have never heard such a ridiculous denial. ASPCA will not be there for you or your pet, do not recommend the use of this company. Either a lack of knowledge or lack of compassion, very poor experience
Pets Best - stay away
I was a member for years. My one claim for surgery was turned down. Having me pay into a system for years that then turns down my claims is a scam.
Pumpkin - I had a conversation through email…
I had a conversation through email regarding my claims. They explained why i was not getting paid with one of the items I sent, however, I asked them what about the rest of the claims which were not pre existing condition? I haven’t gotten any answer.
Fetch - I have a Healthy 5 year old Mini…
I have a Healthy 5 year old Mini Schnauzer I put and fetch insurance last year las month my dog ate somethin that made him very sick took he would not eat and through up a green substance I took him to the emergency vet A bill of 1300 I put the claim and was denied because the dog did not see the vet for a year . this was not explained a healthy dog . The took 15 day to denied . Don't get it they never answer phone for your question .
Trupanion - I have done endless research about pet…
I have done endless research about pet insurance. I see Trupanion tried to reach out to people. My question is, did any of you'all get anything "worked out" after they did you dirty? I was considering them until I saw the reviews. I was impressed they did reach out...however, did they make it right after that is the real question...??
Fetch Canada - Everything is a pre-existing condition
This company has the worst customer service. I have been running in circles trying to get more information on why my pet’s claim was declined. Each email and phone call they give me the same general answer of “it was a pre-existing condition” but when I ask how this is determined and show proof that it was not a pre-existing condition they cannot give me any information. They will deem everything pre-existing so they do not reimburse anything. Customer service is all run by bots so it is extremely difficult to talk to a real person.
