Lemonade - I love Lemons BUT NOT LEMONADE INSURANCE
I will start this review by saying Lemonade is all online you speak to a robot pretty much 99% of the time. I filed a claim for my PARKED CAR that was hit. The car was not drivable, leaking fluid and the whole driver’s side back end was hitting the wheel. I started claim with other persons insurance and they gave me the run around. So I decided to pay my deductible with my insurance so I could get my car back quicker. Well I received my deductible back but never recouped the money out of pocket that the agent said they would fight for. Once I got my deductible back it was like hands off. They no longer held responsibility to help recoup my money even though I had an agent who collected all my receipts and said they would work to get my monies back. It was not a pleasant experience on either side of the insurance equation. Insurance is a scam. I have moved my insurance and we shall see how that goes. It’s just sad how insurance works and how much the consumer gets cheated out of what they are due. DO NOT PURCHASE LEMONADE INSURANCE!

Pet Insurance - I found out my dogs coverage had lapsed…
I found out my dogs coverage had lapsed 2 months ago on 2-28-25 not from Nationwide but from Walmart when I tried to get a discount on his prescriptions. I was told a letter was mailed when my credit card payment was denied 1-28-25 but I did not receive it. My card had been compromised so I missed changing this auto payment to Nationwide. You’d think Nationwide would want to email me and let me know of this payment error to keep me as a customer. But no email was sent nor was a phone call made eventhough you have all that info. I’m shocked I didn’t even get a notice to re apply. This could’ve gone on for months. Since I wasn’t notified I did not have a chance to reinstate my old policy. Now I have to reapply and wait for 2 weeks to make sure my dog is covered. Very poor way to treat a valued customer. I’d like to be reinstated without waiting.
Dutch Pet Insurance - No sense of urgency
Was prescribed meds for my cat. I ordered them immediately and 8 days later I still don't have them. They keep saying oh so sorry its within the time frame. We are so sorry for this. Dutch needs to know this is 100 % unacceptable. My cat is sick and is still sick as the meds are still not here. So sure. You can get seen quick by a vet but the meds take forever to get to you. I would suggest to not order them through Dutch and to get the prescription sent in to a pharmacy.
Lemonade - They denied me partially over bird poop…
They denied me partially over bird poop on my car. I have a very small dent above the back driver side wheel well when someone hit my parked car. Completely clear driving record and little to no tickets at all. They sent the picture back from their determining team with bird poop circled. If you guys trust a company that has obviously never owned a car, go ahead. That turned me off to the company entirely based off the lack of experience. That doesn’t mean you can’t hire experienced people for the job. If you’re going to knowingly use a company that doesn’t know anything at all about cars, be my guest. Entirely too picky.
Lemonade - the worst insurance ever

Dutch Pet Insurance - BE AWARE!!
BE AWARE!!! I tried to transfer a prescription and it was impossible, there is a $5 pharmacy fee that can't be pay by itself or alone, it must be attached to a merchandise order, so finally I had to buy from them. I WAS IGNORED BY CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN ASKING HOW TO PAY THIS PROCESSING FEE OF $5 ALONE....(I TRIED BY CHAT, BY E-MAIL) Finally, I had to buy from them as my pet was running out of food and I then I got feedback right away, but not any word related to the processing fee of $5, but for the order placed.

This company has charged my American Express for over $500. I did talk with the vet. He was very good. I appreciated it. However, their website is not working properly. I cannot see where any orders are on their way to me and now Orders are duplicated due to the fact that the webpage is not working correctly. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and American Express and trust pilot as a scam. Here I am with a sick cat and no medicine and don’t know when I will get any medicine. Have used all my money for them and can’t take my cat to a real vet and I guess that’s only.
