Pet insurance should cover yearly vaccinations, exams and spay and neutering

I was muscled into Fetch by the Charleston Animal Society.No waiting period was the kicker, and I wanted my new best friend to be covered. Now I just want my money back.I submitted 1 claim to Fetch. Not only was the whole thing denied despite marketing that they cover all these preventative/wellness visits etc. Further, Fetch did not even apply the 310.36 to my deductible. Liars and scammers. DO Not get suckered in no matter who tells you what.

Vet is great, the issue is the shipping, it takes too long unless you pay 20+ bucks to rush the delivery. They really need to figure that part out better to make it more worthwhile to use this without charging you to transfer the prescription to someone in your city, in my opinion. No idea on the date of all this because I am still waiting on the meds for my pet, it has been that long....Don't go off the date I have to input to share this review

I don’t usually leave reviews, but Paw Protect seriously deserves one. I’m 30, I love my dog like she’s family, and vet bills can be a lot. When I had an unexpected visit, I called Paw Protect and they handled my claim while I was still on the phone. No back-and-forth, no waiting forever they just processed it and sent the money straight to my bank account within seconds. It made a stressful situation so much easier. If you're on the fence about pet insurance, this is the one I’d recommend 100%.

They have really gone down hill over the years. My premium has increased by over 440% in about 10 years, with no increase in cover, and no claims on the policy. I complained and they offered a 10% decrease for a single year. They say costs have increased, but then that's funny how my premium has increased the exact same amount every year. I also note their operating profits are up 53% last year. Avoid them honestly, they trade on their previous reputation as being market leading, but they really aren't any more

You are asking me for a review 5 days after I paid you YET. The insurance coverage will not begin for 2 weeks

I was having a fine time with Lemonade Pet Insurance for the last four years, until this month. Even though my policy doesn't cover a lot of things (doctor's visit fees, preventive care, dental), and it's only 80% co-insurance, it saved me from needing to throw down $3K on a surgery a couple of years ago, and even that one thing made it worth it.

I would not get any insurance for your pet. In Texas they do not allow you to use insurance at all. You have to pay up front. That isn't insurance. That's still basically you paying for the whole thing. No point in getting lemonade insurance for your pet when you have to pay for it all of it up front. This would have been good to know when I was asking the questions to the people over the phone. They will not tell you this information. So you will think that you are getting a good deal.
