ASPCA Pet Insurance - 90% Reimbursement is a Sham !!
My total bill for Ashley’s Vet Visit was 984.47 - I paid 500.00 deductible leaving 484.47 and I was reimbursed 82.85. Now this just doesn’t sit well with me. I was under the impression 90% reimbursement means I should receive 436.02. Was shocked when was told that they only pay what they feel is the appropriate charge for services provided. So think twice about using this insurance. I know I’m looking elsewhere.
Spot Pet Insurance - Spot deserves 0 stars
Spot deserves 0 stars. My dog needed to be seen for a new heart murmur. I went through the work to find available coupons and discounts for the work that had to be done and ended up saving $211 on the bill. Spot thought I went through the work to benefit them and took the $211 directly off of what they would reimburse me. I contacted them and tried to explain my reasoning with no resolve. Don't get trapped with the Spot, they are just another SLIMY insurance company who will screw customers over just to save a dime. Their customer service sucks and I 1000% would NOT recommend doing business with Spot to cover your furry friends! DO NOT get pulled into their catchy phrases claiming #1 pet insurance, In fact, they are #1 WORST pet insurance!!! There is a reason there are no Google reviews. What a shame, be better Spot.

I was told on the phone a bunch of great things. Like when you put in a claim it takes a few days to be refunded if I got the wellness added to my pets insurance. But that is not true now that I put in a claim I’m told it can take almost a month. Why was I told a bunch of lies on the phone ? So you could get a new customer? I truly hope it does not take that long because if it does I won’t be staying with fetch. If I get it soon then I will change my review but I’m still not impressed with being told a different story just to hook a new customer
ASPCA Pet Insurance - Our family cat had a medical emergency…
Our family cat had a medical emergency and was vomiting blood and we had her covered by ASPCA. The vets were telling us it was medically necessary to keep her overnight and xray her. After providing all requested medical records which proved no prior medical issues, they flat out denied. UNBELIEVABLE! Warning do not spend you money with ASPCA or Fireman's Insurance. We need a class action against them for denying legitimate claims. I am honest and this was a medical emergency, my wife as a RN and I have EMT training a vet at 1AM saying it's an issue and them denied says enough. I'll take my pets and $1300 year premiums elsewhere.

These reviews have got to be fake or bots, please go look at their reviews on Yelp and filter to “most critical” on the app store to read real reviews of people experiencing how terrible Fetch Pet insurance is.

I had a rare positive experience with the former company that became Fetch, Pet Plan, and I had recommended them many times over the 12 years I had my policy; however when my premium (understandably) went up as my cat is older, I did the calculations and determined there was little financial benefit to maintaining the policy, so I called to cancel. I was given a whole pitch about all the ways my cat could get sick and need coverage- I patiently listened and explained my position, again, but when the agent repeated the whole script again, I told her I would check with my vet and see if her argument was worth considering, given his health. Talked to vet and I was correct, so I called a week later to cancel, and explained my entire position again- that I was calling back the second time after considering not canceling, but very firmly requested to cancel my policy. The agent then took several minutes reading the notes from the previous week and his claim history, and then pursued to launch into the exact same script again, and then one more time after I interrupted her that she was repeating a message a had heard now 3.5 times before. It felt manipulative and scammy, disrespectful of my very clear request, and wasted my time on what should have been a simple call, but ended up being over 10 minutes. I will not ever recommend them again.

I just read another negative review and am glad there are people who speak the truth. I’ve been quite disappointed with Fetch Pet Insurance. Whenever you reach out with concerns, the response is always the same: “We understand your frustration, but it’s in our terms and conditions.” They offer to help, but in reality, it feels like they don’t really care. After someone posted a negative review, I again noticed an influx of positive reviews right away from users claiming to be extremely satisfied, which feels suspicious given my experience and experience of others.

Wish I had looked into reviews for Pawp before I started paying for their emergency service. Their customer service is CRAP. You can't get a hold of a live person, and the "chat" is ridiculously slow to respond, if they ever do. They refused my claim for "missing documentation" but they didn't tell me WHAT was missing. So I'm in the chat right now, and "Tess" told me they'll submit my case to another department, which will get back to me in 4 business days--by then, my claim will have been rejected! I want my money refunded IMMEDIATELY.
Dutch Pet Insurance - I do not recommend this set at all
I do not recommend this set at all. I paid for the 2-year subscription, and I am unable to use my profile due to Dutch technical difficulties. I have been on the phone with them all day, texting because I haven't been able to get anyone over the phone. My dog is very sick, and I wasted my entire day going back and forth, and nothing got resolved. The refuse to refund me even thou I haven't been able to access my profile at all. I had no choice but to reach out to my bank and report them as a fraud. I just found other reviews claiming the same situation, and this is heartbreaking as my dog is really sick, and they did nothing to assist me. Please don't waste your money and I recommend that you look at other alternatives. They only place the good reviews on their site and leave the bad ones out, so they will trap you that way. This is not cool Dutch to be playing around with peoples money and pets wellness.

DO NOT USE THIS SHADY INSURANCE COMPANY. They will deny every claim even in urgent situations. There is 14 day waiting period which they don't disclose. They are only out to get your $ and provide shitty service and no insurance when one needs it most.
