Embrace - I have had embrace for my St
I have had embrace for my St. Bernard since she was a puppy. She is 10 yrs old. My only complaint is the amount that embrace increases every year is insane. I was paying 235$ then 287$ and then jump to 435$. That’s a car payment basically. I’m actually at the point of just dropping the insurance and using a credit card and just paying it off. Even though she had a surgery 6 yrs ago which was $9k after adding how much I have paid embrace I easily could use a credit card and just pay it off over time. I have spoke to other insurance companies and they are so much cheaper with exact same coverage ( including a higher wellness amount at a cheaper price). It’s sad considering I have been a military member for over 45 yrs.
Pets Best - In three years time the price went up…
In three years time the price went up almost 300$. To expensive at this point
Nationwide - This is the 4th canine I now have…
This is the 4th canine I now have insured under Nationwide. It continues to amaze me that a company as large as Nationwide has a pet insurance site that reminds me an old dos version of software. You need to bring a contemporary look to the site. Also, it is ridiculous that after having 3 other canines registered on the site, I still have to enter the full information about my bio. You would think you would have that information readily available so I don't have to reenter the same information a 4th time! You need a very badly updated website. Also, the response time to inquires is very slow!
ASPCA - DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! This insurance will find any way to deny a claim and won’t give you a reason why! WASTE OF MONEY!!! If you are with VCA try their insurance instead, it covers way more and it’s the same cost!
Pet Assure - They are just taking your money
Do not trust whatever are saying! the claims take a least 30 days. They do their best to not paying your claims. They are not respectful at all when you are calling about your claims even their manager.
Embrace - Good insurance until your pet becomes ill.
Had this insurance on my little dog since she was 3 months old. When she was 10 yrs old she became ill and they tripled the premium. @299 a month!
ASPCA - Why pay for insurance when they denied everything
We have turned in a claim to this company they have conveniently denied our claim. But nobody can tell us why and they tell me there’s no one to speak with about the denial if there was a lower score I would give it to them
Spot - My pets was a member of spot insurance…
My pet was a member of spot insurance for 2 years. Here is my experience: my cat had a vomit for 4 days, at the vet clinic they did X Ray, blood test, didn’t find any diseases like diabetes or stone in kidney, told me to monitor her state and charged me with $1065 💰. Pyshka had an accident coverage only and blood tests, scans or CT are included in the accident coverage. The SPOT insurance reimbursement was $18.0 as they thought Pyshka had gastrointestinal problems, but she didn’t 😡. My cat choked with a hairball and it was coming out after day 4. So, I’m not longer a member of this insurance 🤯
I am pretty sure that choking with a hairball is NOT PREEXISTING CONDITION
Trupanion - Misleading comapny
This company is very misleading with exam day offers. Customer service was poor when I reached out to figure out why my claim was denied. How can something that has never been diagnosed, be pre existing?
Pets Best - scam
Took my dog for his yearly visit because his vaccines weren’t up-to-date and I couldn’t get him in to doggy daycare. I was about 10 days early without realizing it and I called the insurance company to see if they could cover anything at all since he’s not due for his yearly check up anymore. I have paid over $700 in premiums since his last vet visit in March till this month and they can’t cover a $240 yearly check up. what a scam.
