Dutch Pet Insurance - Went months back and forth with no meds
Was told my account would be canceled after an absolutely awful experience that made it take months for me to get medication for three dogs and a cat last year. Now I received and email about changing my payment method so they could renew it again. So not only did they have awful customer service throughout they also took months to get my prescriptions filled and continued to charge for all of this. To smooth it over they offered me a 30% discount on my next order. Why it would be assumed I’d trust them with my pets health again is beyond me.
ASPCA Pet Insurance - HORRIBLE INSURANCE AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT
All this week, it was one problem after another and therefore why I am getting rid of this insurance and have already found another. First problem was when I went online trying to find out the cost of adding three more pets. When I clicked what would be to review the cost and selecting my payment method and apparently it was to sign them up! I have never ordered online and not be taken to select the payment method. It used the one i had previously paid with and I am no longer continuing to bank with them so had no funds to cover the charges. I immediately called and was just basically told by your not so friendly reps that it was my fault because I clicked the add button! I removed the added pets and asked for a refund. I also asked to be refunded the $35 overdraft fee this caused. I was told they don't reimburse those and it was my fault they told me again. How can it be my fault when I had no intention of drawing from that account if I had been asked. The next thing I learned after submitting two claims was that you only reimburse after I've paid it off!! Then why do you bother asking me where I want the payment sent???? To me or my vet???? Why would I have you send it to the vet if I've paid the bill?

It sucks - I think this company is a scam. They have no consistent way to login online or on the phone total crap
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance - They don't pay for any wellness check…
They don't pay for any wellness check up, which means I am just paying my monthly fee for everyone else's pet for the past 3 years... and when I filed for reimbursement, they requested "complete health history"... Why are there so many hoops for pet parents to jump through just to get what I paid for back? It's a really horrible insurance and I felt scammed.

When this company first started out, they were great. In the past two years however - I don’t know if they’ve just grown too fast or if they really are just scam artists. But it will be the most frustrating experience of your life.

Dutch Pet Insurance - The veterinarian is AMAZING!
The veterinarian, Dr. Gonzales, was AMAZING! HOWEVER, after easily receiving the notes, treatments and prescriptions... I decided to add the EMERGENCY Insurance but before checking put I decided I wasn't going to get the insurance at this time. When trying to remove it from the cart, unlike the prescriptions, the insurance did not have a "REMOVE" button. No biggie, call customer support. Time and time again, I was put on hold and the call was disconnected. I've also written customer support to no avail. So now, I'm leaving a review. I hope this is just a glitch and I can re-review it and upgrade it to 5 stars!
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance - BUYER BEWARE OF RATE HIKES
Have had Healthy Paws for 7 years. Premium started at a low $33 per mo. Increased gradually at first, but just doubled this year to $255 per monthly. We NEVER filed a claim and ALWAYS paid on time. Healthy Paws will take your money. As your pet ages they will keep increasing rates until you are driven out of your policy. A win/win for Healthy Paws.
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance - I have been a long time customer
I have been a long time customer. Initially the fee seemed reasonable, the service was quick. However as the years progressed, the premium started to quickly increase. I noticed as the pets reached senior age, the annual premiums were increasing around 50% each year. Now I am stuck because I cannot find another provider to cover them and their now preexisting conditions. I was warned about them from another insurance company that when the pets get older they start charging high premiums. I believe this model shows they do not care about the pets, just making money and realizing that this is a good model due to once a pet reaches a certain age, they probably had a few issues. They are a DISGRACE and would never recommend to anyone. Read their policy carefully and ask plenty of questions before you commit to them.

The add that I saw was for a t shirt for $7.99 plus shipping and the proceeds would go to helping dogs. What actually was they've started taking $30 a month out of my bank account, stating that I signed up for this and it was in an email.they sent me which it was not. I've tried to cancel several times and if only been met with stupid emails from a manager. I had to cancel my card at my bank and my bank is currently investigating the charges to have them reversed . Don't do it!!! I have a problem even thinking this is a real charity.
