Pets Best - When we first signed up
When we first signed up, our plan included coverage for my dog to get neutered. We waited until he was one. Finally completed the neutering, submitted the receipts, and our coverage miraculously changed to “it’s doesn’t cover neutering”. I’m very mad, very disappointed. Faithfully paid for our plan to take best care of my dog, and for nothing. YOU HAVE COVERED NOTHING!

Embrace - Don’t get this insurance
Don’t get this insurance. Fine if you have a puppy, but if you use it or your dog happens to get older, they will make it so unaffordable that you will be forced to cancel. And then you will have a dog who will have a preexisting condition so that you can’t get other insurance.
Embrace - Policy sky high increase
I loved Embrace until I received the premium increase. It doubled to 3100 for both dogs. I spoke to them and she made suggestions but could not tell me if I made changes if I would get my money back. One of our dogs did not have any claims. The other had about 5 but nothing expensive (ear infection/cough). I went to use the app as she suggested and the error message came up Oops something is wrong. I agree app there is.
MetLife - Worst service I've ever used
Worst service I've ever used. Completely fraudulent just like all the reviews state. They never pay claims, and I've been on a call with them for over 40 minutes trying to cancel the service. Don't waste your money. All their responses to reviews are the same canned response.
Follow up: See their "cut and paste" response below, they live in an irony free zone it seems.
Fetch - PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE!
PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE! I have paid thousands in premiums for a very healthy 10 year old dog. They have only approved and reimbursed me a TOTAL OF $120! They have denied everything, even claimed her allergy shots and dental cleanings as "pre-existing", even though I have had my coverage with them for over 5 years, and her allergies just started a year ago. I also had wellness coverage with a $100 dental benefit. They denied this because she had plaque on her teeth, so they categorized it as an illness and not wellness. Isn't this why they get dental cleanings? To clean the plaque off? Absolutely ridiculous. They lured me in because of their affiliation with The Dodo, but they take complete advantage of people. They are a shameful company. I am so disappointed I wasted so much money with them before coming to my senses. From one pet lover to another, please, please, do not make the same mistake I did and give this company your money. Your pet would be much better served elsewhere.
Embrace - Scam
Our premium went up more than $60 a month to $213 a month even though we had no claims last year and I’ve only had one in the two years we’ve had the policy. I was told it was because bet expenses have skyrocketed and our golden retriever turned 9 and they are prone to certain diseases.
Embrace - The App Needs Work
The company is good, pays claims in a timely manner. It's the App that's frustrating. Extremely slow to process anything, causing me to give it up for the day. And the user interface could use an upgrade.
Embrace - Your increase was excessive, price gouging to the max!!!!!!!
I was happy with this insurance, but at the end of last year they raised my premiums by about $150..I think this is excessive as I have been a member for over 5 or 6 years..That is excessive!!!!!!!!There is no reason for that!!!!!
