Figo Pet Insurance - poor communication to customer
purchased some time ago and this does not say which dog policy this if for. need better communication on this. also see a charge on my credit card for $455.00 for Figo pet insurance and did not receive any notification that there was any renewal on pet insurance due. this is thru Costco and price increase was over $100.00 in 1 year from what I see and no claims made and on a young dog. not happy with the way this was done.
Pet Secure - Nothing is covered.... ever
I have 2 dogs who have been with petsecure for 1 & 3 years and they have covered absolutely NOTHING. They deem everything is "excluded from the policy" even using the term "post sale exclusion" as well as "pre existing condition" Please note that the pre existing condition was used for a 4 month old puppy. So what? Being born is a pre existing condition? They are the very worst. I cannot state this enough. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM. You will be stuck. Policy: 10226457 & 10264019

They raised the price on me by 40%+ all because my dog got one year older. The only heads up I get is via email saying that my “rate may change.” Ridiculous.

I filed a claim2023 around Oct waited, waited and haven’t heard anything !!! I called back and filed the same claim again waited waited nothing happened and then they were asking more information that alreay my vet gave them but they wanted more : ! they had everything I told them my previous vet Hospital transferred all the information to New hospital that I have been with them several years they just wanted something an excuse to denied the case. finally few days after our last conversation they denied the case because of Existing condition ??? and they never explain why they think that problem was a existing condition. they just sent me the general information that what is existing condition ?? That really didn’t help that much !! I am not happy with this Insurance . I have two dogs with them Waste of time and money
ManyPets - Total fraud
Paid premiums for 2 years for 2 dogs. My first claims were denied even though all information was submitted and my vet attempted to communicate with them multiple times. They left the vet on hold until the line disconnected multiple times instead of working with them, then immediately closed my claim for “lack of response” even with all documentation, history, and multiple email communications. I wish I’d never given them a penny.
ManyPets - Disappointed first experience
Our rescue had been having an allergic reaction to something since we adopted her about a year ago. We have tried multiple meds both over counter and prescription, as well as switching foods to different types of meat, grain free. We’ve tried it all to lessen her symptoms. Benadryl daily worked for a little bit, which is when our vet suggested the allergy shots. With our dogs weight (70lbs) the shot alone would be close to $200, which every 3-4 months adds up. A coworker highly recommended ManyPets to help cover the cost of the allergen shots as that was our last resort before shelling out the couple hundred bucks to do the full allergy testing. It was disappointing to be told after filing a claim that due to her allergy issue being a preexisting condition that we are unable to have that covered by the policy. She has also had anal gland expression issues even with fiber supplements and a high fiber diet. While I was not looking for pet insurance to fully cover this expense, it was disappointed to learn that they would not be covering those expenses as well until she is symptom free/not medically treated for at least 18months. I would recommend ManyPets to think about a specific coverage plan for senior rescues.
Pumpkin - Unreasonable premium hike
Your service is first rate, however a 25% premium increase in just one year seems rather excessive and may force me to shop around, even though your service is good.
