Spot - Not much on wellness…
I have the wellness and illness and accident coverage. Of a wellness examine and some vacs it was 170$. Ok was reimbursed like we $54. Seems low. I think my dog has zero vet visits this year as well. Maybe one.
Spot - SPOT NOT PAYING UNDER CONTRACT DETAILS
We used to have Nationwide for pet insurance until they stopped offering it. With Spot we pay over $100 a month. We have our deductible paid fir year and 90% that they are supposed to pay. Dog had teeth cleaning done with a few extractions. Bill was around $900. We are only getting $150 back from Spot. Looking at coverage they should have paid ALOT more! Funny this us exactly the same amount we got for a $350 bill three weeks prior for blood work. Im getting a feeling Spot is a scam and they lie to get your money. DO NOT USE SPOT!
Embrace - Great Company/New issues with Pre Existing Condition
I have been a customer of Embrace for several years with great respect for this company and their caring for your needs and the needs of your pet. I had a dog that became very ill and needed emergency services. This company went above and beyond at 2 am to help resolve funding issues with the hospital to resolve my issue and saved the life of my dog. That friend passed away. We have adopted a 1 year old Shit Zu. He is a patient/customer of Embrace. This breed is well known to have periodic issues with skin issues and he had one minor issue of a skin infection from when he was housed in the shelter. The claims review has now disqualified any future claims that relate to a skin issue as a pre existing condition. I do not believe this is fair for me as a long time customer. I have given this companys information to dozens of people at the vets office, dog parks and other casual conversations. I fear this quality experience from issues in the past will now be in doubt if this bad customer service decision continues and I hope this isnt what the future looks with ongoing claims.
ASPCA - Definitely not worth continuing
Definitely not worth continuing.
They refused to cover routine preventative vaccinations, and the ones which were covered were reimbursed at a fraction of the customary cost. They also refused to cover allergy treatment, though failing to treat leads to skin infections. I do not want to continue paying high premiums only to find out what they won’t cover in the future. My family will take that money and self insure, again.
Embrace - First time submitting a claim
So far can't state whether I really like or dislike. This is my first time submitting a claim
Embrace - Beware beware there is no way I believe…
Beware beware there is no way I believe these reviews most have to be artificially generated check the Better Business Bureau pay 2 years on this policy every single claim denied read your policy read your policy it covers nothing and you will not find this out until you absolutely need it two years down the drain my dog will die because of this company I encourage a class action suit
Pumpkin - Just getting started

Fetch - I am extremely disappointed in Fetch…
I am extremely disappointed in Fetch Pet Insurance. One of the main reasons I chose Fetch was its coverage for integrative treatments like acupuncture and physical therapy. However, when I finally needed to use that coverage, they found a loophole to deny my claim.
My veterinary specialist referred my dog to the most highly recommended licensed canine physical therapist in Utah. Despite physical therapists not needing to be veterinarians in Utah, Fetch refused coverage simply because he isn’t a DVM. This is incredibly frustrating, especially considering I’ve paid tens of thousands of dollars in premiums over the years for my senior dogs and have rarely received reimbursements.
I will be canceling my policy before the next renewal and will never use or recommend Fetch again. As someone deeply connected in the animal industry, I will make sure others are aware of this disappointing experience. If you’re considering Fetch, be warned—they may not stand by their advertised coverage when you need it most.
Healthy Paws - Awful
Awful! I have been paying on this insurance for 7 years and they wanted me to pay the deductible for vet visit just under $500 cost. Just ridiculous! Better off starting a saving fund for your pet’s vet visit then paying into pet insurance! Total scam! Total joke!
Fetch Canada - Do not use
Do not use! They are a sad excuse for pet insurance!!
