A bit of a double standard. I take one pet to the vet, and I get an 80% reimbursement deposited in my account. I take my other pet to the vet, and I'm told the reimbursement is being applied to the deductible, and I'm not getting an 80% reimbursement direct deposit.

Not a single claim has been honored. Not a single penny for a weekend long hospitalization for accidental poisoning. If that isn’t what insurance is for, then I don’t know what is.

Please do not be tricked by this company for bringing you into their company at a reasonable rate, for them to have raised it each year between 15-20% and now in my dog's 6th year with them they raised it 40% over $300 in one year!

Absolutely disappointed with Healthy Paws pet insurance! I purchased their policy with high hopes of ensuring the health and well-being of my beloved dog, but was left with a feeling of complete betrayal. My poor dog had broken teeth which required expensive dental work. Imagine my shock when I discovered that Healthy Paws not only refused to cover the costs, but also did not provide any refunds!

Customer service was great, very polite when I called to cancel. The problem is the rate increase was astronomical for my 4 year old dog. Many other companies have better rates.

STILL waiting for the $75 teeth cleaning for one of our two dogs. Unfortunately, it’s barel 1 star sit has been very difficult getting reimbursement. Highly considering cancelling monthly payments for 2 dogs. It’s just too much effort of resubmit records for simple dental cleaning. We were asked to send the same information 3x and only received reimbursement for 1 pet.

I don't understand the insureance or how to navigate anything for help. We are hoping that nothing major happens, because we have so many questions.

As any other insurance they will do their best to avoid covering your costs.

Probably the WORST service to use. DO NOT USE THEM! I repeat DO NOT USE THEM if you care about your furry friend. They won’t pay for any emergency. The only way they will pay if your dog is at death’s door. My dog had a major injury and they refused to pay saying he won’t die from this. So it is not an emergency. Please, go with Lemonade or Nationwide. They are at least a 1000 times better than this.

I made exactly one claim during the 3 years I was a policy holder. As an attorney, I am used to adversarial proceedings but never encountered that experience where I am making a first-party claim. I see where most policyholders were happy with their experience and satisfied. I, on the other hand, had among the worst customer service I have ever encountered.
