Healthy Paws is a great pet insurance company, they are easy to work with and their website makes it easy to submit claims and receive payment. My beautiful English Springer Spaniel had to have surgery to remove a very large cyst from his neck. It was tough and expensive operation. I submitted the claim and within days of the surgery they sent the reimbursement payment to me and I was grateful as the payment came at time when money was needed. The following week the Healthy Paws team followed up to see how my pup was doing. I was happy to report his recovery and that he is cancer free. I highly recommend Healthy Paws to all pet owners. Pets can be expensive, and a good pet insurance company gives peace of mind to know our precious fur babies are covered.

I did not know we have a $500 deductable. We have 2 policies with you and pay over $100 a month. We never turned in any claims for over the first year of coverage.

Takes forever to get claim reviewed, had for a year and not 1 cent covered,not sure it's worth it

Been with them 10 years. 1 dog for 10, 2nd for 7. Paid out lots of $$ over $16,000. Reimbursement- $656.52 after deductibles. They used to have late payment option by a few days. Removed it without notifying anyone. Noticed this was after they lost a BIG class action lawsuit. Have a medical emergency in my family and requested a 3 day late payment. 3 days. Denied. Customer service non existent. Had asked about this before and they kept saying I wasn’t a customer and couldn’t find my account but they could keep getting direct payments. There’s other companies out there now with more services. Recommend new people search for better options. We pay more $$$ per month for pet insurance than ours. Get less consideration for loyal customer. 3 days delay. 3. Seriously. It’s not like they’re not going to get their money.

I had SUCH a negative experience with them. They looked back in my dogs records for a common dog complaint as a sign of his future serious illness! They are looking for reasons not to pay. That was my third claim and the first two were very cheap sick visits. I’m out almost $2000 to pumpkin and stuck with a large bill they won’t pay. And the coverage annually isn’t a lot. It’s not a good deal. Don’t buy the propaganda on their site. I’m going to appeal and if it doesn’t work I’m going to sue them and file complaints wherever I can. Do NOT get pumpkin. The pits. Also wait till you see how inaccessible the adjusters are.

All of my submitted claims were denied without further explanation. Both of my pets were seen at the vet and none of the wellness visits we’re covered. Nothing! At this point I’m tempted to cancel our coverage. Dissatisfied

Too expensive for what it is. They fight any claim you make and don’t cover much. They are pretty blunt about letting you know anything you submit they will dig deep in your pets medical to not pay you a dime. I’ve paid them thousands this year for my pets and I’ve had them apply $18 to my deductible. Look elsewhere.

I don’t know yet I just got purchased this we’ll see about it. When I read all the contents of the policy and needs of medical insurance and compared to other insurance prudent is more likely better good…

My dog is very healthy, i almost never use the insurance ever year increases 50%.
