Dutch Pet Insurance - If I could give less than 1 star I…
If I could give less than 1 star I would. I waited 5 minutes in a zoom call for the doctor to join he never did. I was then charged the no show fee even though I messaged the doctor on their website. He responds back saying he was waiting but I never joined. I said no there must be an issue with zoom then I had been waiting for you. Dutch customer service never answers the phone and does not respond to text messages. I am still waiting on them to respond to my many text or emails. If they don't refund me I will be disputing this charge with my bank. The initial day I joined Dutch it was like this. I didn't get through to customer service and had to repeatedly text for a response. Its unfortunate because my first appointment went great, and I got my medications in a timely manner for my dog. I was super excited for this appointment because the first Dr had been so great but Dr. Justin Michaels and the customer service team have ruined this experience. I wasn't even asking for a refund on the annual fee but a refund on the no show charge. But I can't get through to their customer service team. Now I just want a full refund there is no use in having a service and never being able to get ahold of customer service.
Figo Pet Insurance - STAY AWAY FROM ALL PET INSURANCE
First of all, DO NOT BUY PET INSURANCE. Pure waste of money. Open a savings account and put the premium in it to save up for the "bad times". Used 2 ins companies, first one quietly increased our premium due to "age" with very little communication, burying the notification in a routine annual renewal email. Second company, Figo, paid for little bills (applied to deductible, so almost nothing paid out) as our dog's health declined, then denied an x-ray related claim due to pre-existing condition, heart murmur. X-ray was NOT done to check on her heart, but to determine a NEW coughing issue. Because vet prescribed heart murmur meds, it was deemed pre-existing and denied. Appealed denial, they claim they did not get the email (it was sent, no error message received). Dog's health continued to decline, we sadly had her euthanized. Euthanasia claim denied due to pre-existing condition causing health decline, stating she had heart, tumor and cough issues in 2024. NONE of those were related to any of her 2025 issues. We'll appeal that as well, but I see how the process works now and have very little hope of any reversals.
Lemonade - Lemonade cannot provide basic renter's…
Lemonade cannot provide basic renter's insurance on demand in CA. I contacted them today with a change of address for a move in date on 07/18 and they cannot provide coverage until 07/24. Having been a customer for 6 years, I completely disgusted with Lemonade and will be cancelling my auto coverage as well.

Dutch Pet Insurance - Great doctor, horrible pharmacy and customer care
I had a great experience with Dr. Hall—she was compassionate, knowledgeable, and clearly cared about my cat's well-being. Unfortunately, the overall service from Dutch has been disappointing. I ordered a prescription three weeks ago and still haven’t received it. When I tried to follow up, I was met with delays and unhelpful responses.

I have paid into this pet insurance for a year recently. I visited the vet for the first time for a wellness check for both of my kittens. I have the complete care coverage and the preventative basic and it says no wait time and you don't have to meet a deductible for the wellness check. I paid $300 out of pocket because you have to pay out of pocket before they reimbursed you. Which if I would have known I was going to be denied both claims and had to fight them and still fight them after paying a year into the insurance I would have not put myself dead broke for the month I would have financed better....I would have never paid into this scam. only for them to fight me over. $90 on one and $70 on the other is disgusting They should be ashamed of themselves. It's a rip. So basically I'm paying out of pocket regardless and I would have paid out of pocket without paying a Year's worth of fees. So I'm actually out a s*** ton of money.

Gimmick is to sucker you in with "High Service options at low prices", only to continually raise your bill $40-$50 a month with ZERO explanations (NO claims have been made AT ALL) and then when asked why, you receive a rudely worded email blaming the "economy"
MetLife Pet Insurance - Not real insurance…loss of confidence
My dog has been to a vet exactly once for an infection on all 4 feet. I filed the claim and 70% of the vet charges were denied because MetLife classified them as ‘preventive care’ even though the ONLY reason the dog was at the vet was the infections.
