I had a great experience with Dr. Hall—she was compassionate, knowledgeable, and clearly cared about my cat's well-being. Unfortunately, the overall service from Dutch has been disappointing. I ordered a prescription three weeks ago and still haven’t received it. When I tried to follow up, I was met with delays and unhelpful responses.

Gimmick is to sucker you in with "High Service options at low prices", only to continually raise your bill $40-$50 a month with ZERO explanations (NO claims have been made AT ALL) and then when asked why, you receive a rudely worded email blaming the "economy"

Unbelievable. I paid out for years. I had accidental only yet still paid $50 every month for over 5 years. My dog died suddenly and accidentally but I received zero compensation. Worst pet insurance. They totally scam people. You won’t get anything.

Lemonade ended up being one the worse experiences I experienced on top of an emergency vet not catching the actual issue with my dog that I'm about to paid to have a necropsy done to try and see if I can figure out what no one caught.

Put in a claim (the first one ever in over 6 years) and haven’t received a response of follow up. The adjusters are not doing their jobs or they’re intentionally ignoring claims.

Repeatedly delaying all claims reimbursements for as long as humanly possible. Denying claims as ineligible for no legitimate reason. Broken claims portal, further delaying submission of claims, which I do not believe is unintentional! I was unable to update payment method on the website. Zero response for weeks at a time from customer service, something that should be considered fraud. I've left multiple voicemails, sent multiple emails, and never receive a single response from their useless chat feature on their poorly managed website. The first and only 2 claims they have paid since Feb. 2025 took 3 months to receive payment on. These were both simple, straightforward wellness claims. I had to supply them with all of my pets medical records, since Odie falsely claimed ManyPets did not provide those when they aquired my policy. Yet another stalling tactic to delay processing of any claims. Clearly, this company is here to take your money and pay out as little as possible or nothing at all. They are quick to deny, immediately process any claim that can be 'applied to the deductible', YET they will drag out reimbursement for totally documented, evidence supported, legitimate claims for months on end. I cannot even count the times I've repeatedly reached out to them and never gotten a response.

Claim reviews takes several days to process and there should be a way to upgrade coverage during the current term.

I submitted a claim for a critical and necessary surgery—our dog had bone exposed. ASPCA Pet Insurance repeatedly claimed they never received the medical records and closed the claim. I resubmitted everything, only to be told it was now a duplicate—and they closed it again.

My claims form apparently when through some automated reviewing came up with a totally erroneous conclusion. Aspen went in for hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and you came up with 3 diagnoses: diarrhea, motion sickness & uveitis. Where in the world did you come up with those other 2 diagnoses?? there is no mention of either problem in the records. Then you took off $250 for each diagnosis leaving me with a huge deficit to pay. This was not the first time this happened either--once before you did the same thing--making up diagnosis that was not true. A top notch insurance system should not be working so inefficiently Please do a better job
